I work in the technology industry as a technical writer.

My superpower is the ability to turn almost any statement into a sexual innuendo. Also, I can wiggle my nose & ears. But not when I'm giggling.

Right now, it's the big blue mohawk. But normally, it's my deep blue eyes and long eyelashes.

(A) Oh, goodness - where to start? I like Sci-Fi and Fantasy, some horror. I also enjoy graphic novels. Fave authors include William Gibson, Bruce Sterling, Neal Stephenson, Neil Gaiman, Charles DeLint, Alan Moore, Umberto Eco, Elie Wiesel, Seanan McGuire, Cherie Priest.

(B) My taste in movies follows my taste in books - solidly sci-fi & fantasy: Bladerunner, The Matrix (loved the first one, hated the last one, the one in the middle was ok), LOTR, Serenity, The Princess Bride, Stardust, old Hammer horror films, black and white vampire movies, Say Anything, The Breakfast Club, Star Wars (most of them), anything with Johnny Depp. I also have a soft spot for animated movies like Despicable Me, Kung Fu Panda, Monsters Inc., 9, The Jungle Book (original Disney animated, not the crappy one with music by Phil Collins), etc.

(C) Techno, Indie, Rock, Classic Rock, Classical, Alternative, Punk. Specifically: Queen, Led Zepplin, Depeche Mode, Tom Waits, The Cure, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Kate Bush, Annie Lennox, Sarah McLachlan, Peter Gabriel, The Ramones, Tom Waits, Talking Heads/David Byrne, Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry, Indigo Girls, Dar Williams, K.T. Tunstall, S.J. Tucker, Bone Poets Orchestra (formerly Gaia Consort, Abney Park, Rufus Wainwright, Rusted Root, Moxy Fruvous, Ani DiFranco. Did I mention I like Tom Waits?

(D) I've got pretty broad taste in cuisines: Indian, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian, Greek, Afghan, recently discovered Trinidadian. I don't eat beef or pork, but I do eat fish, seafood and fowl (chicken and turkey, mostly). I can be quite happy eating vegetarian. I absolutely love sushi!
