I'm a pretty easy going person who roots for the best story. By that, I mean I used to be a fairly cautious person but found that always taking the safe side of things led to a slightly boring life. So I've started taking more risks (nothing earth shattering, but apparently enough to sign up for an online dating site) and I've found I really enjoy NOT knowing what's going to happen next. I love to laugh and find humor in almost everything, especially myself. I can't write a very good summary about myself because I tend to get long-winded, so one more quick note: I'm way more than just some dumb jock, but if you don't like sports even a little bit, save yourself some time and stop here.

This year started as a dare and has become "The Year of Physical Challenges". I've completed a 12 person 200 mile relay race and a Tough Mudder so far, loved the relay and I'm doing another one in the September and I'm going to try for a half-marathon in October. I like to have goals, challenge myself, and try new things.

Oh I go to work and such too and really like my job, but I feel like "I've lived in a van for 32 hours with relative strangers" is more interesting than talking about my job.

I like to think I'm pretty good at reading people. My first impression of someone is usually fairly accurate and it helps me get along with all different kinds of people. And if you read that paragraph above, you might be able to guess I'm a pretty good athlete.

So currently, pretty much anything HBO puts out is gold. Love Game of Thrones so I started reading the book and told myself I wouldn't get ahead of the show and only read the next book once the next season was about to start...then I got hooked and have read all 5 books. About 3 episodes into The Newsroom and I'm hooked already, Boardwalk Empire, Ricky Gervais, Bill Maher...all great. The Office is probably my favorite show even if the recent episodes aren't as good, big fan of Community and the Daily Show as well.

For books, the most recent books I've read were about the economic collapse, a biography of Sandy Koufax, 2 books by Christopher Hitchens, and then the Game of Thrones books. It's all over the place, but mostly I like historical books.

Music is mostly alternative and classic rock, but there's plenty of rap/hip-hop/top 40's stuff on my workout mix. Really the only stuff I don't listen to is heavy metal and country.

For food, Mexican and Italian are my favorites, but the only thing I won't do is sea food (sorry sushi lovers, I've tried all kinds and just can't get into it).

Not a big fan of this question. It seems EVERYONE likes their friends and family. And if you can read this, you're human, and therefore require food/water/shelter or you die.

My job has me working odd hours, so sometimes I'm there. But since this question is more "nights you are free" you'll probably find me out with my friends somewhere at a baseball game, a party, a bar...pretty much anywhere I can have fun.
