I am honest, sarcastic, and silly.
My Self-Summary
I have those "guy like traits", at least that is how I've heard it
described. I'm more logical than most women, and I try really hard
to base my decisions and actions in logic rather than emotion. I
don't wiggle and giggle like most females, but I can be a girly
girl on rare occasions. I rarely wear makeup, it's too time
consuming to worry about it! I'll admit that I do have the female
crazies every now and again. It's something that comes with the X
chromosomes, and being wired to react with emotions first. I can
usually keep my crazies in check, but sometimes they get the best
of me. I dislike game playing, and can be painfully honest. If I
have a problem with you, I'm going to tell you. I won't make you
guess what I'm thinking or feeling, I'll tell you if I'm happy or
pissed or whatever...and why! I'll never ask you if my ass looks
big. I won't ask you to hold my purse while out shopping, I don't
carry one. I have a terrible memory when it comes to unimportant
things. I doubt I'll remember to bring up every little thing you
said X number of months ago. Chances are, I've forgotten about it
because I told you I liked or didn't like it at the time it was
said. If you're looking for a "typical" woman, you won't find it
here.
I love video games. I've attended and hosted LAN parties,
role-played for D&D, and traveled hundreds of miles to hang out
with the people I game with online. It's important that you
understand the gamer culture...otherwise, how else will you
understand that I'm the uber leet haxzorz?
I LOVE to learn, but I don't like typical school. I would like to
learn something every day. Whether it be something complex, or
something as simple as where the term "Tow-head" came from, I need
to learn! I love vocabulary, logic, science, and math. My dad is an
engineer, he had a lot of influence on my likes and dislikes. I'm
fascinated with most everything in life, from the mechanical to the
natural, I love it all. I tend to notice the small things that
others overlook. No, I'm not the type to go gliding through life
with my head in the clouds, and no I don't typically stop and smell
the roses. But, I recognize the amazing things that happen in every
day life. This includes anything from odd patterns in ice crystals
to the rhythm of the white noise in my apartment.
I've had too many relationships (friendly and romantic) end because
of my lack of religious beliefs. I don't believe in god, and I
never will believe in god, nor will you convert me, unless you have
concrete proof that a deity exists. I don't care what kind of
beliefs other people have, so long as they understand that I'm
entitled to my own, and am entitled to talk about my own as much as
others talk about theirs.
I'm not looking for someone to complete me, finish my sentences, or
shower me with compliments and gifts every second of the day. I'm
looking for someone to share experiences with. I want to tell you
about the weird thing that happened to me, or the person at work
that pissed me off, or the awesome thing I did, or the complicated
problem I figured out. Although I'm inarticulate at times, I will
eventually finish my own sentences. If you want to compliment me,
great! If you don't compliment me for months on end, I won't get
offended. I'm not the type to require that you buy me gifts all the
time either, even at holidays is questionable. I'd rather you buy
me a gift because you saw something that reminded you of me, not
because you feel obligated by tradition or society. I am a huge fan
of personal responsibility. The type of guy I would like to meet
should be patient, understanding, independent, and absolutely
honest. I'm looking for someone with which I can be silly, go out
to dinner/drinks/coffee, go for a walk, or stay home, cuddling and
watching a movie.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a long list of goals I want to accomplish before I die. Most
of them have to do with wanting a good job, house, etc. I set lofty
goals, so I can push myself to hit them. Completing these goals is
a big part of my life, but not all of it. I strive to improve
something about myself constantly. I am not perfect, I know this.
There's always something to fix about myself. Whether it be
physical or mental. This goes hand in hand with the need to learn
every day. I want someone that will accept that there is always
room and need for improvement. I have completed my "traditional"
education, aka I have my Bachelor's in Accounting. I'm working on
finding a fantastic job in the crazy fun world that is Accounting.
I currently have a job...just not a great one.
I’m really good at
Discussing a variety of topics and making people laugh. I'm a very
opinionated person, and I have those strong opinions because I take
the time to learn about them. I love a good discussion, and I LOVE
being proved wrong. Being proved wrong means I'm learning
something.
I'm sarcastic about everything. Life is too short to be serious all
the time, or even more than 10% of the time. I'm silly, weird,
sarcastic, goofy, and a lifetime kid. I'll never completely grow
up...grown ups are boring! Plus, I come from a long line of
sarcastic b*stards.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes and my smile.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: I don't have a specific favorite book. For genres I like
sci-fi, mysteries, and light romance.
Movies: Princess Bride, Office Space, Emperor's New Groove, most
Kevin Smith movies, and any movie with a twist ending or that makes
you think.
Music: I love hard rock, metal, and some alternative. My current
favorite bands are Alice in Chains, Disturbed, Metallica, and Black
Eyed Peas.
Food: I'm not THAT picky about food. I'm willing to try almost
anything once. My most favorite types of food are sushi and
italian.
The six things I could never do without
My brain
My dad and brother
My friends
The internet
Netflix
Texting
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Pretty much anything. I live by one simple rule, question
everything. I constantly change my view points and opinions. None
of my opinions can ever be set in stone because I don't know
everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends, spending a quiet night at home, or
watching movies with my best friend.
You should message me if
You have something to contribute to an intelligent discussion, have
a sarcastic sense of humor, or can tell me why Penn & Teller
are not JUST magicians.
