I'm a nomad at heart, shameless daydreamer, and lover of snark. I still kind of want to be a pirate when I grow up, and I try really hard to believe in the Loch Ness Monster. I've lived on four continents, but I'm not finished yet. I'm currently working toward getting my certification to practice nutrition consulting, because I really do believe in food, and also it's delicious. I have fantastic taste in friends, or fantastic people seem to find me, I've never been sure which. Writing, dancing, singing (mostly in the shower and while washing dishes), swimming, riding horses and roller coasters, and hanging out on or near the ocean and fireplaces are also favorite ways of spending my time. I'll try anything once, and then I'll get really excited if it's fun and do it a bunch more times.

Studying nutrition, starting a business, writing fiction, mixing metaphors, seeing as much of the world as possible, and keeping the world safe from spray cheese.

Reading people, feeding them when they're sad.

I have very startling cheekbones.

I love ethnic food and gigantic bowls of warm things. I like to eat them curled in a corner of the couch, while talking to other people with my mouth full (it's not gross, I'm REALLY good). I really like trying new foods & restaurants & recipes, plants I've never heard of, and exotic spice combinations.

Trying to branch out in my reading, because I miss the days when I was constantly reading something new. Recommend something. Ideally something we can talk about.

I like movies & tv with high quality scripting, ideally stuff that's not too depressing. Although I will make exceptions for really good writing, or just because I want to watch it with you. Yes. I'm a joiner.

I love meeting new music. I listen to everything, but be warned, I have a freakishly good memory for lyrics, and I WILL sing along.

It's roommate dinner night. Don't judge. We're adorable.

I admit all the private things. Not because they don't embarrass me, but because I did them anyway.
