Originally born in Russia, grew up in Germany and then somehow ended up in the land of french fries and lawyers. After moving around way too much, I seem to have settled here in San Diego. Moved down here from the Bay Area to go to UCSD. And after finishing up school decided I don't mind the sunny beautiful weather and could stick around.

Easy going and drama free, but like to maintain an edge to keep things interesting. At my core I'm a deep thinker and enjoy contemplating life and why things are the way they are. I love creativity and feel driven to put a creative spin on everything I do even if it takes extra time.

Enjoying life, working diligently on my career as a software engineer, while always looking for fun adventures that would make for a great story.

Music:
All over the place and I really mean it. From electronic music (huge Tiesto and Thomas Gold fan), to jazz, anything with a Spanish guitar, hip hop and then some.

Movies:
The Hangover, Spirited Away, Inglorious Bastards, Memento, Knocked Up, Gladiator, Amelie, The Usual Suspects, American Beauty, Godfather, Pan's Labyrinth, Wedding Crashers, Pulp Fiction

Food & Restaurants:
Sushi (Sushi Diner in Clairemont - beyond good!), Thai (Spices in Mira Mesa), Russian (Pomegranate in University Heights), Italian (Arrividerci in Hillcrest), Slaters 50/50 (Point Loma), Mexican (Ortega in Hillcrest) and of course a food comma inducing Chipotle or Wahoos burrito will rarely be turned down.

1. Red wine. Major wino in training and on a mission to try every bottle at Trader Joes. My current taste buds are all about Pinor Noir and Malbecs.

2. Internet. Seriously, what did people do with themselves a few decades ago?

3. Sushi. Must have it once a week or else ...

4. Music! Lucky enough to have a job where I can get away with spending countless hours listening to stuff on hypem, pandora and grooveshark. If you have any good playlists, send them my way!

5. Tea ... teehee. Hey that rhymed!

6. Being active: working out, snowboarding, ping pong at work and basketball pick up games in a park on a warm summer evening.

How to get better and improve my current skills ... stuff like nunchuku skills, bow hunting skills and computer hacking skills.

Seriously though, I love learning new things. Always curious how to get better at something.

Out downtown. However, I'm almost at that point in my life where bars and clubs lost their appeal to me, so staying in and reading a good book or watching a movie is happening more and more often.

Found a way to run into a tree at full speed, when I was 10 years old. And let me tell you, the tree got me real good. Moral of the story: look where you run because trees hurt.
