I am Interdisciplinary, imaginative, and jazzy.

My Self-Summary

Hello; my name is Valerie, I live on Capitol Hill in Seattle. I enjoy playing guitar and singing, as well as building musical instruments. I also enjoy cooking, dancing, and writing. I enjoy traveling and road trips, spent a year in Europe studying in England and Spain. I love books, hate TV, appreciate intelligence and humor in a person.

What I’m doing with my life

Recently I've been doing caregiving and working on a book. I would like to travel to Scotland as my next adventure, though it may be down the road a ways.

I’m really good at

I'm good at being a kind compassionate caring person. I'm also a great cook, and am into Indian food right now. I'm good at conversing and listening. I'm okay at guitar and singing and building musical instruments.

The first things people usually notice about me

The first thing they notice is a great smile. And a nice package...I have the body of an 18 year old. Tall, slender, long strawberry blond hair, blue eyes, long legs.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I love Indian food amoung other kinds.
Music? Well, I enjoy a variety of kinds, jazz, pop, folk, and classical. Joni Mitchell, Michael Franks, Dave Matthews, John Meyer, Sting, 5 for Fighting are some of who I like to listen to.
In the way of books, I like a good historical novel like "Water for Elephants," "Household GOds," "West with the Night" (non-fiction). I have a collection of natural healing and herbology books, as well as cooking books.
As for movies, I don't like slapstick ridiculous comedy, violent movies or sci-fi. I do like a good down to earth comedy (Cannery Row, French Kiss) and thoughful movies (The Name of the ROse, Babbettes Feast, Chocolat, August Rush).

The six things I could never do without

Music, good food, my guitar, my cat, my friends, travel.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Writing books, helping others, raising money for good causes, meditation.

On a typical Friday night I am

At home with a good book, wishing I had good company. (Where are you?)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I've been asked to write books because I am so adventerous and been through so many strange things, proving that fact is stranger than fiction.

You should message me if

You are intelligent, musical and into good company.
