My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've really come to a realization about whom I want to get to know / talk to / etc. It's axiomatic that people will judge others for their looks and their intelligence. But, ultimately, this is unfortunate. Baring study and working out, which can affect your degrees of both of these somewhat, you are pretty much stuck with what your genes have granted you. People are far less often judged for what is actually a choice: how nice you are to those around you and how hard you work. In the end, no matter how smart or beautiful you are, if you are a lazy douche then you are wasting potential.

I've been told by a number of my female friends that ever guy lies on here about their height. Apparently everyone adjusts themselves up 2-3"... well... I"m actually 6'0"... I suppose I should lie and put 6'3" then to combat the assumptions??

I'm a Los Angeles native who graduated from SC. I've never tried any form of online dating before, and I realize there is still a stigma attached to it, but I figured it would be worth a look.
I believe that people should always follow what they want to do in life. Too many people settle for what is sufficient but give up on chasing what is necessary.
I can come off as intense sometimes, but that is mostly because I enjoy a good debate.
I have a core group of friends who I've known for a very long time. I consider myself extremely lucky to have grown up with some very excellent people around me.
I love travel. My most recent trip was Berlin / Paris.
I love sports. I used to play football in HS and rugby in HS/College. I don't play anymore, but still try to stay active. I'm not in as good shape as I was in the rugby days, but I'm working on it. I love the NBA and English Premier League soccer. Its definitely not necessary that a girl like sports, as long as she doesn't hate if I get excited about a Laker or Liverpool game.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently managing a private education center here in LA.
Pondering either Law School or a MA/PhD History program. Most people are horribly bored by History, but I love it.
Want to finish up a couple writing projects before I go back, and in the meantime managing a few side ventures.
Basically.. a lot, but not enough... Finding a way to be my own boss and live off of my own creativity. 9 to 5 forever sounds like hell lol.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not Sleeping
Maybe some other things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have very broad shoulders and good posture, which makes them look even more broad. I'm also a drop-11 in jackets, so usually gets comments.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love reading. Sci-fi / Fantasy novels. Non-fiction: historical and current. Malcolm Gladwell and Chris Hitchens are currently filling up my Kindle.

Movies: I really like all types. Some top choices would be: The Shawshank Redemption, Inception, The Dark Knight, The Godfather, The Last Samurai, Lord of the Rings, Aliens, and of course all the requisite stupid guy comedies.

Shows: Castle, Modern Family, Community, White Collar, The League, Archer, Justified.

Musics: I like a varied array of music. As a kid I pretty much only listened to classic rock as a consequence of my dad. Still listen to a lot of it. Like heavy metal but not screamo. I listen to a -lot- of electronica but could do w/o dubstep. I very much enjoy classical. Pretty much everything but country and bad rap. Basically my first concert ever was Crosby Stills Nash and the next one I have on the list is Rammstein in May.

Food is great. I love eating out and exploring new restaurants. I like most things and will try anything once.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In a non-specific order:
1) My car
2) Friends and family
3) Books
4) Physical Activity
5) Good food, currently Sriracha obsessed
6) The internet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future, the present, and how I'm going to get to the former.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually going out with friends or possibly staying in if I've been very social that week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I fear failure?
I don't really keep too many secrets, but please...feel free to dig haha.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are good at conversing. Not like "I like to talk" good at conversing, but like "I enjoying sharing my views and opinions and then hearing others' views and opinions."

You like dumb, nerdy stuff.

You're ok with the fact that I will most likely be pretentiously dressed.

You own any Blackmilk swimwear... I'm serious about this one... MSG me.
