There are times when I wish life was like the movies. Then I remember its so much more fun interesting to write my own script.
Cue the lights! Amel's "For Real" is setting the scene and tone of the score.
“Sifting through rocks trying to find a diamond!
Can U handle the pressure?”
“One man’s quest to find the wrong person. But not just any wrong person: the right wrong person—someone you lovingly gaze upon and think, “This is the problem I want to have.”(TM)

An anonymous gorgeous woman.
Midwest born D.C. transplant simply seeks to find ultimately a friend, partner, at some point wife via this medium or else where. Although he has been in the area almost 7 years he still maintain Midwestern sensibilities as it relates to how he treats people. If he makes eye contact with you he says hello and to the dismay of some "strong independent" women he hold doors open. He is wise enough to know that he knows nothing at all. He accepts that he doesn't have it all figured out.... (Well kinda he wrestles with it some still) He realizes that he just may have been going about this whole dating thing all wrong.
“We’re all seeking that special person who is right for us. But if you’ve been through enough relationships, you begin to suspect there’s no right person, just different flavors of wrong. Why is this? Because you yourself are wrong in some way, and you seek out partners who are wrong in some complementary way. But it takes a lot of living to grow fully into your own wrongness. And it isn’t until you finally run up against your deepest demons, your unsolvable problems—the ones that make you truly who you are—that we’re ready to find a lifelong mate. Only then do you finally know what you’re looking for. You’re looking for the wrong person. But not just any wrong person: the right wrong person—someone you lovingly gaze upon and think, “This is the problem I want to have.”
I will find that special person who is wrong for me in just the right way.
Let our scars fall in love.”
― Galway Kinnell
I could never express it in such an eloquent way...
Cue the orchestra:
I can live, I can love, I can be better with you,... for real.
LEADING LADY(that is you):
A gorgeous woman woman (ethnicity is no longer top priority) tall or short, from the darkest to the lightest hues of the rainbow, happy to be nappy, to curly to straight, long to short hair. She understands relationships require work commitment and dedication. (She desires to have at least 2 children. This is in addition to any child/children from a previous relationship.)
In short she finds him to be the right wrong thing for her. And as above the problem she wants to have..
Could you be the problem that I want to have? Could I be yours? Let's explore
Musical taste ranges from Maxwell, Fiest, Dido, Ben Harper, 80s music, Otis Redding, Ice Cube, Morcheeba, Otis Redding, Sting, and Miles Davis...
My favorite radio show is called Echoes... Now I wonder who on here knows about it.. If you do then you may have free legal services for life..lol
Movies embarrassing but I love romantic comedies as much as the Spidermans, Transformers action type movies... Favorites are Lovejones(greatest of all time), Serendipity, Love Actually, The Holiday...
I will however go see some of the most lowbrow comedy when I am in real need of mindless laughter and entertainment.
Books I rediscovered my love of reading. Recent readings: The Alchemist, The Power of Now, The conversation by Hill Harper... Sistas not picking on you but as your brother I'm willing to say we really need to have the conversation to heal the rift between us. 12yrs as a slave Life of Solomon Northrup, The Christian Atheist ( excellent book) shocking title I know, Souls of Blackfolks, Yurugu, Every Man's Battle for Sexual Purity
