Lists, lists, lists!
BOOKS: My top pick right now is without a doubt Jagganath by Karin
Tidbeck. Some old favorites are George Saunders' short story
collection CivilWarLand in Bad Decline, particularly the last
novella, "Bounty"; The Unbearable Lightness of Being; Lolita;
History of Love by Nicole Krauss; Breakfast of Champions; We Need
to Talk About Kevin; ISHMAEL. Edward Albee's "Zoo Story" is the
best play. I just finished Eggers's How We Are Hungry and loved it,
so I'm on to tackling A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius.
Though I'm on hold because I left it at a friend's house by
accident. If you are reading this, and are the friend whose house I
left it at, please give me back my book.
Books are great. I highly recommend them. Everybody read
