My self-summary
I'm artistic, enthusiastic and creative. I'm game for just about anything so long as it's in the spirit of fun. I like fun. I also like cooking, reading, and good conversation, and I'm not averse to going dancing. I am an artist and work in tech to pay the bills (and do actually like my job as well).

For now I'm mainly looking to hang casually and have fun without a lot of immediate expectations. That doesn't mean I'm not looking for a real relationship - just that I like to take a little while to evaluate a situation and for us to get to know each other.

I'm a fan of good food whether it's fancy or from a hole in the wall. One of the best things I ever ate was a hand-pulled noodle soup made with numbing peppers, found near Jiuzhaigou (no idea if I'm spelling that right) in Szechuan China. I was violently ill for at least a day after eating it, and I'd still eat it again - it was that good.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a painter, printmaker and illustrator, actively showing and selling my work. I recently had a one man show of my work in a local gallery, and currently maintain two etsy shops. I have Bachelor's degrees in Art and Art History, speak French and some Spanish and enough Mandarin to order a cold beer, dumplings, or ice cream. Professionally speaking, I work for a local company as Director of Design. I lived for a year in Paris a while back and I've also traveled all around Europe, and to Chile, Argentina, and China for vacations and some business.
I’m really good at
Painting, Printmaking, Reading, Learning Languages, Sincerity, Laughing at Myself, Empathy, Interaction Design, Listening to and appreciating a variety of music, Painfully bad jokes, Iconoclasm, Not taking things, or myself, too seriously.
The first things people usually notice about me
