What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
For the past 17 years I've studied the guitar. I play mostly rock music, on the electric and nylon string.

For work at the moment, I do music transcribing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening, being a supportive good friend.
Reading people.
Witty comebacks.
Chop busting.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I think that kinda depends on you :) I'd hope that it was being easy to talk to
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Food: Cinnamon Snail, Champ's in Brooklyn, Vegetarian Dim Sum House, the Apothecary formely known as Lula's, Vinnie's pizza, Dunwell Doughnuts, and Sacred Chow are among my favorite places for food.

Music: Michael Hedges and early Genesis are huge influences. I also really dig Frank Zappa, early Dream Theater. King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Yes, King's X, Stevie Wonder, Nuno Bettencourt, Steve Vai, Richie Kotzen, a little bit of jazz but not huge, Monk, Bill Evans, John Coltrane. Always up for new recommendations!

Movies: I like anything from documentaries The Corporation to The Squid and the Whale, The Shawshank Redemption to Kill Bill Vol.2, good and bad horror movies. I've decided the whole 3D thing kinda sucks.

T.V: The Walking Dead, Orange is the New Black, Bates Motel, House of Cards, Broad City, The Daily Show.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Amazing food
Kisses from my sister's shih tzu
Good Sleep
Awkward moments
The "I KNOW RIGHT?!" feeling you get when you talk to someone who just, fucking, gets it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The silliness of our political situation.
Mating rituals of society.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sometimes bar hopping, hearing live music, I could just be at home practicing. On a nice day, one of my favorite things to do is take my guitar to the park, do some writing/practicing, get some sun, and maybe pay the dosai man a visit.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Only if you're willing to make exceptions.

Or if I messaged you, and you decided "eh, maybe not"

Oh, I'm kidding!

By the way, I think the internet is actually a terrible means of getting to know someone, so I'll probably ask you out in just a few messages. Fair warning!
