I am anarchistic, sleepy, and posi.

My Self-Summary

I am a vegan anarchist. I like anarcho-punk, folk and folk-punk. I can be silly sometimes and cranky other times.

Politics, particularly those left-wing outside-of-the-mainstream politics are pretty much my bread and earth balance. I think about it all the time, I talk about it all the time, most of the things I do are related to it. It's OK if we disagree about stuff, even your analysis of things like class, race, gender, and sexuality. A refusal to think about such things, however, is a deal-breaker.

I'm a baristo at a worker-owned anarchist cafe.

I can have a dark sense of humor at times, but also like to hang around extroverted, generally positive people.

I have a had time writing these things. I'm mostly interested in the matching algorithm, as well as the chance to ask myself personal questions to get to know myself better. I am not, however, adverse to the prospect of actually meeting someone on here.

What I’m doing with my life

Trying to abolish all institutions of hierarchy, government and capitalism, so the world can be a more fun place, filled with more slack and laze.

More specifically, I'm hunkering down for another winter spent as an old lady trapped in a twenty-something's body. By the end of winter I vow that I will be an expert-knitter, Esperantist, who can cook a fucking sweet vegan brie. If you're skilled in any of these fields, or want a project-buddy feel free to write me.

I’m really good at

I'm good at making people laugh (usually from humor, sometimes nervously). I'm good at cooking and baking!

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm missing a front tooth.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Ecodefense: A field guide to monkey-wrenching | Intimacy and Solitude: Balancing Closeness and Independence | The Will To Change by bell hooks | Ishmael & My Ishael by Daniel Quinn | How Nonviolence Protects the State | The Lorax by Dr. Suess | Anything by Murray Bookchin | Anything by Noam Chomsky

Movies (& tv): The Spook Who Sat By The Door | V for Vendetta | Super Troopers (I know it's dumb) | Cosmos | Little Ashes | I (heart) Huckabees | Daria | The Simpsons | Plympton Films

Music: A//Political | Antischism | Witch Hunt | Cr(A)ss | Behind Enemy Lines | The Ramones | Propagandhi | Contravene | Flux of Pink Indians | Conflict | Oi Polloi | Millions of Dead Cops | Subhumans | Resist and Exist | Anima Mundi | Zounds | Los Crudos | Citizen Fish | Anti-Product | Rudimentary Peni | Aus Rotten | Dystopia | Detestation | Defiance Ohio | Bad Religion | Bikini Kill | Dead Prez | Good Clean Fun | Limp Wrist | Pansy Division | R.A.M.B.O. | Thatcher on Acid | The Mountain Goats | Velvet Underground | The Fugs | The Dicks

Food:
Vegan carb-crunch. I like pizza, pasta, sandwiches, toast. I also love sweets. A vegan tiramisu brightens up even my worst days.

The six things I could never do without

1. Email

2. Vegan sweets! Delicious.

3. Good friends.

4. Books

5. Tofu

6. Political Theory

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Anarchism. Seriously, I think about it more waking hours than not. Also I think about making the most of each day.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Anything actually private I'm not going to put here, so I'm instead going to re-appropriate this box for a list of knuckle tattoos i've considered getting:

Love 2Eat
Eat2 Live
Fem- Punx
Anarchy!
Luv2 Talk
Fuck Poop
Shit Fuck
Word Punx
More Tofu
Vege Thai

You should message me if

you wanna be activity buddies, either of the kissy-or-nonkissy type. I like learning new things. I'm currently super-psyched about knitting and esperanto for instance. If you're into those things or wanna find new neat projects, you should message me.

you like cute date-times with picnic baskets, awkward movies, and other such foolishness.

A disclaimer: I'm kind of what they call a baby-gay. I'm attracted to both women an men, as my profile indicates. I was in a gay relationship in highschool, the social consequences of which were tremendous enough to not only end the relationship, but put that part of me aside for years. I'm now primarily (though not exclusively) interested in going on dates with men. I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to dating men and it makes me nervous.

Okcupid needs a "You should not message me if" question. So i'm adding it here, and here you go:

You should not message me if you know specifically what sexual act you want to to on/at/with/toward/in me. I'm just not that kind of boy.
