My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm Adam and I'm a huge optimist. I love being all over the place when it comes to life. I don't really like planning a full day. I much rather begin somewhere, and finish up with a completely new and interesting ending. I feel what's the point of living if you're not doing it to enjoy yourself. Although, I do have lots of goals and I care a great deal about people. I swear I've found the perfect amount of hedonism.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently at UMass Lowell studying Civil & Environmental Engineering. I also work part time, now that school is back in session, at a construction management company for a project up in Lowell. I'm the office intern so it's basically my job to be the cheerleader and keep spirits high, as well as make everyone else's job easier.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I play devil's advocate a lot. Not to be "that guy" but just because I like to see situations from so many different angles, and always try to put myself in someone else's shoes. So one could say I'm good at being empathetic. Actually when someone mentions the word empathy, I get excited because it's such a beautiful concept. Anyways aside from that I've been told a couple times I have a "feel good" aura, which sounds pretty awesome, so I guess I can say I naturally make people happy.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My dreadlocks! I cut all my hair off before high school graduation and haven't looked back since. Not gonna lie I kinda love my hair. I'd also say people notice my constant smile. It's actually really hard for me to make a straight face on command. Oh and that I'm probably wearing mismatch earrings and one is usually a flower.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Autobiography of Malcolm X, Badass, The Book of Five Rings, The Illiad, Daisy Miller, Present Shock, Mindfulness In Simple Words, The System, and The Dharma of Star Wars. I used to read a lot more now the internet has transitioned me to reading more articles, intellectual and sometimes foolish...I blame reddit.

Movies: Fight Club, The Matrix, Bridesmaids, Butterfly Effect, Rush Hour series, Princess Mononoke, Old School Kung Fu movies, The Hulk (one with Edward Norton), and Grandma's Boy. Also my favorite Disney movie is The Hunchback of Notre Dame because it's way too intense to be a children's movie.

Shows: PLANET EARTH (just bought it recently), Chappelle Show(RIP), Adventure Time, Regular Show, mostly anything on Adult Swim, Workaholics, South Park. I also recently got through the first season of Game of Thrones and I'm trying to catch up. It's really hard for me to invest myself in a whole season of a serious show, plus I hate cliffhangers so this is a big step for me.

Music: Musical tastes ranging from M83's to ASAP Rocky to Matt & Kim to We Are Scientists to Four Year Strong. (5 random samples from my But yea I love so many types of music please show me what you like.

Food: So many types: Mexican, Thai, Ethiopian, Korean, Indian, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese...really whatever you put in front of me, with a penchant for really spicy food. Recently tried Cambodian food and it's already zoomed up the ranks of my favorite cuisines. I also enjoy cooking and I'm not too bad at it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I made this list by thinking what things in life are awesome.

-Rapper ad libs: I have a terrible habit of reciting them often (if you do the same I already like you)
-The joy that comes from being in a social setting
-Shaking my extremities (AT reference)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lots of time thinking about nothing. I enrolled in a meditation class senior year of high school and it's pretty cool. I kinda motivated myself to meditate at first because I figured it would help me manifest my latent Jedi powers. Also I think the stories of religious leaders are really fascinating. I'm not religious or spiritual, but I think Jesus and Buddha were brilliant teachers (if they existed). Not to mention, I think about how much I'm currently loving my sociology of gender class this semester. There is finally class discussion, and I'm very passionate about the subject matter. It's a refreshing change from the engineering lectures about applying mathematics to certain situations.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Blasting music and shaking my dreads, regardless if I'm at home or at a party. I really like to dance and if you can move (or you can't but you try anyways) then I'd love to share a makeshift dance floor with you. Seriously all you people out there that think they're hopeless, rhythm is just practice, no sweat!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I feel semi artistic I'll listen to Kate Nash, cause "sometimes I wish I Ma-ri-ella!" I miss my oil painting class in high school.
