My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, everybody. I have no idea if this profile-conglomerate still represents me. I just saw the revival of Kenneth Lonergan's THIS IS OUR YOUTH and one of the characters goes on (at length!) about how you at 30 wouldn't even recognize you at 18. I don't remember exactly when I started this profile but I'm pretty sure that it's not entirely who I am today. All of this is to say, disregard the personality vector match percentage, if you haven't already.

Who are you, really? I'm still figuring it out, and you should be, too. Among other things I'm tall, blue-eyed, devastatingly charming, intellectual, confident, funny-ironic, inclined to wordy lists, and East-Coast raised.

I'm finishing up a grad program in Pittsburgh and looking for someone to spend a little or more than a little time with. Not sure what's next, though I am looking for someone else adventurous about the future. I study theater, which I both write about and participate in the creation of. I care a lot about things like cooking, design, architecture, music, theory, writing well, and bourbon. Recent events have confirmed that I am, in fact, a cat person. Ask me about it.

Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I teach, research, write, art, and, um, occasionally pontificate.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have big eyebrows and a tendency toward muppetyness when I'm feeling comfortable and happy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
NPR (how typical) - do podcasts count here too?
Macaroni and Cheese
Travel
Good Friends
A Watch
Table Lamps
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Space, architecture, and urban planning; mass transit; theater and dramatic lit; midcentury modern styles; future history scenarios; cooking gadgetry; maps; postmodernism and post-postmodernism; what I'm going to do with my life; why certain things are almost always funny; what I'm making for dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'd like to say getting out, but it's just as likely I've napped, cooked, and am sitting down for a nice show with friends or alone. Or I'm at the theater.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm an ENTP...most of the time I take the test, at least.
