My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just moved to Portland to do software development.

I love making things. I'm not that great at making things with my hands, so I turned to making things with my mind. It's pretty awesome, since there are few limits on what you can actually accomplish.

I like experiencing things. As much as I've already done, I'm still so young and have done so little. The world is large, and I want to see it all. Or at least a lot of it.

My favorite color is purple. A deep rich violet that brings to mind nobility and honor.

I was born in Nevada, but have lived in Oregon all of my life. I can't imagine spending any significant amount of time in a place where grass isn't vibrant and healthy year round. I love the rain.

I approach the world in a logical fashion. I've yet to find a problem that can't be solved by just sitting down and considering all of the facts. Even with people. When you understand why someone feels how they do, it's easy to find a solution to any problem involving it.

I am loyal, honest, and intelligent. I am looking for someone similar. Someone who enjoys adventure and terrible jokes.

I like physical affection; hugging and cuddling. I also like hammocks. The combination thereof may be the greatest thing in existence. Something about the swaying of the hammock combined with the completely trivial danger of falling.

Life is an awesome adventure, and I tend to approach it as such.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am finishing up my last term of college and moving to Portland thereafter to find employment.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Logic and Reason. Rambling about any given topic. Knowing random trivia.

I am also told I am fairly good at playing viola.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I am tall. Also possibly my freckles, though that is mentioned far less.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This requires some thinking, so it will likely never be totally up to date or even completed.

Books: ASOIAF Series, anything Forgotten Realms, especially R.A. Salvatore, Rand (enjoy the message, perhaps not applicable to actual politics), the Elric of Melnibone series by Moorcock, any random fantasy novels, Ender's game and related books, Dune etc.

If you've any good recommendations, I'd love to hear them.

Movies: Avengers, Chronicle, Primer, Donny Darko, Star Trek, a whole bunch of others. I especially love cheesy comedies. Airplane was amazing.

Shows: Community, Castle, Adventure Time, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Psych.

Music: I have an incredibly wide, but shallow taste in music. Listing things I like would be a disservice to the things I'd forget to list.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A computer with internet
A goal to aim for
Unexplored territory
Something to tinker with
A loved one to enjoy it all with
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Any inane thing I can think of. What the socioeconomic effects of a post scarcity economy would be. Game theory. Anatomy and how surgery works. What would be required for true peace on earth. How awesome trig is for simple physics calculations. What the most functional and efficient zombie fortress would be like.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Spending time talking with my friends, when they are available.

Working on a personal project.

Finishing up homework.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I make spaceship noises while driving.
