My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let's see.... I'm from Atlanta, and have lived in Manhattan for the past three years; I've made stops in life in upstate New York and California as well, although I'm pretty much settled into the city for the long haul now.

So my two passions in life are definitely for all things aviation and photography. Pursuing the former, I went to Georgia State University where I got my bachelor's degree in Aviation.

As far as photography, I recently upgraded to a full frame DSLR and it's more than a little awesome! I'm usually trying to convince myself that I don't need to buy another lens.

I've done a fair amount of portraiture work and have a small studio that has served me very well.

I'm also a former professional firefighter, which might come in handy soon considering how many times I hear my neighbor's smoke detectors going off.

I also try to exercise and eat/cook healthy, although you might not know that if you ever happen to see me at 16 Handles...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
As mentioned, on the professional level I work in airport management/operations. It's kind of hard to explain, but ask me about if you're interested!

When the weather is warm, I can often be found out biking around the city.

Also I love to travel. I've seen a good bit of Europe, but want to branch out to some other continents. If money was no object, I would still stay in hostels over hotels.

Some of the most fun experiences I've had have been some across the country road trips by myself. It's a great way to see the country, provided you have the time to kill, of course.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cards Against Humanity. Really, go ahead, ask me what my favorite card is!

Starting fires, putting them out (time permitting), finding awesome happy hours, parallel parking, and fire escape gardening.

Singing mid 90s Toni Braxton hits in the shower. If you don't think it's possible to be "good" at this, you've obviously never showered with me.

I also really enjoy hiking; some of the most beautiful land I've seen is Glacier National Park.

I'm a pretty decent cook, defined as my ability to set off the smoke alarm in fewer than 4 out of 5 attempts.

Oh and I'm a pretty terrible pilot. I guess I'm good at being a terrible pilot, so that fits here...

I like to think it's my sense of humor, which I in turn like to think is a cross between Mitch Hedberg and Stephen Wright

Or, I may or may not have a slight Southern accent from time to time... This may or may not be directly proportionate to how much I've been drinking...

I'm going to pair this down and just choose one of each. These aren't necessarily my all time favorites, but they jumped to mind.

- Lolita

- Wet Hot American Summer

- The Walking Dead

- Minus the Bear

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Hmmm pretty trite, but I suppose :

My bike, a camera, travel, good beer/whiskey, friends, hot weather
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The people I pass on the street, what secrets they have hidden away and what stories their lives hold.

Also, why there aren't more hammocks in the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching a season of The Biggest Loser in reverse so that it's a bunch of skinny people getting fat.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

My cat very often sits in my lap when I'm at the computer and stares intently at the screen. So if I message you, there's a pretty good chance he's already passed judgement on your profile.
