Havent been on this site in a while properly. Used to check back in when bored but didn't really do anything with it. So I thought I'd just update my profile for a bit for fun.

Writing for Film Magazines and music sites, making short films and Djing. Also writing a comic book based on the band The Apples in Stereo with their support!

I hope writing and I wish I could say guitar but I'm not really.
Being a critic..I think Im fair, I dont pander to fads and if I love something I will passionately champion it!

Books: read a lot, J.D. Salinger, Hermann Hesse, Paulo Coelho, Chuck Palahnuik, Graham Greene and Neil Gaiman, etc.

Movies: Bunel Films, Agnes Varda films, Twelve Monkeys, Amelie, Royal Tenenbaums, Big Fish, Memento, The Princess Bride, David Lynch movies, Woody Allen movies, American Beauty, Charlie Kaufman movies, Coen Brothers movies etc. I review movies so I have a lot of favourites but the amount of dross out there is staggering!!!

I'm a dj so it may be hard to narrow down...Highlights of bands include (in no particular order) The Smiths and Morrissey, REM, The Frames, The Pixies, Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan, Belle and Sebastian, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Animal Collective, Neutral Milk Hotel, Magnetic Fields, Wolf Parade etc.

I once had a dream in which I won Best Supporting actor at the Oscars. I have NO idea why. It's not an ambition or anything and I wonder why BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR?? if I'm gonna go ahead and dream about it why not Best Actor or Director or something bigger? Must be a reflection of my self esteem or something!
