My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm here in case that special. someone is here too. I'm in a pretty good place with my act basically together. My main selling points are my wit, and that I don't snore and I'm from the east coast.
I am a compassionate person with good manners. When I see the opposite of compassion, it gets to me and I wish people were more kind. I think I need a partner with extra understanding and patience. Above average smarts and funnybone too. I want a nice girl, ideally with a pony tail. Possible with little crows feet when she smiles.
When you see it said I don't like cats know that I do, I do like cats. But many of them make me sneeze. Meanwhile I seriously love dogs.
I'd like to end this on a topic other than pets. So here's an example of me being considerate. When the bathroom has an automatic paper towel dispenser I wave my hand an extra time on the way out so the next person has their paper all ready for them.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm learning. I'm staying healthy. I'm working and saving and enjoying myself. I'm looking for a new hobby. I'm following sports and reading the paper which I subscribe to in order to support the Chronicle which is probably going to go away and I'll miss it.
I just spent a slew of my vacation days snowboarding in BC Canada, and Breckenridge CO.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not sure how this came to be, but I'm good at jumping rope.

I'm a touch typer.

I'm a pretty good hitter (softball). I'm good at snowboarding. I can chop vegetables pretty well. I've gotten good at washing dishes in my new apartment. I think I'm a good listener. I think I'm a good arguer, meaning fighting fair.

I think its funny that the things I am NOT good at are very simple things. I am amazed at how many things I drop when I pick them up. Or how I leave my lunch sitting on the kitchen counter. Or how I forget I'm supposed to take it easy on my boss.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I could only guess, cause they're not saying. Maybe they notice how important I am because people have called me "sir" a couple times lately.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like all of the good songs. Born to Be Alive. Funky Town. Boogie Ooogie Oogie. Meetin in the Ladies Room. My friends say Jungle Love is the best song, but I like Rythm Nation much better. And, No Parking Baby, no parking on the dance

Books - Nick Hornby: About a Boy (book, and movie too)
Favorite movie I saw recently: Midnight in Paris, and Man on Wire. Yes, I am far behind on flicks. Also, The March of the Pengiuns. Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou?
And I can't wait for : Bucket List II, Good Will Hunting II, Dolphin Tale II.

Just found a great show on KOFY called Dance Party.
I like the News Hour, Daily Show, Conan, Jeopardy, Frontline, and Archer. I had an experiment in March - I tried to leave my TV off all month.

Food: King Crab legs, though I so rarely have them. Lately I've discovered how good these persimmons are. And pomegranates. Did you know pomegranates are not messy at all if you gut them in a water filled bowl?
I listen to a lot of NPR and especially like This American Life, and especially dislike Car Talk.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My sisters (that's two)
Having someone I can talk to.
Books.
Exercise.
Tied for sixth place: friends, jokes, bike, sunglasses.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
All kinds of thoughts that are in my head; the rarely stop and so I think about the thinking.

And little plays on words that I just heard.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
When the lights go down in the city, and the sun shines on the bay, I want to be there in my city.
I am not in a Friday groove at the moment, so I will get back to you on this one.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A couple times lately when I'm alone and talking to myself the voice has come out sounding like the tv cartoon character Cleveland.

You've decided that I am the man you want to marry, you have an extra ticket to the game/show, or at a minimum, you just think it would be interesting to ask what's up.

You have a sense of humor/are a good sport.

Must love art.

Must be a positive person. Doesn't have to be always, but overall positive.
