So I guess a little about me: I moved here from Chicago for work. I needed a change of scenery from the hustle of Chicago. St. Louis is pretty laid back, almost too laidback. Either way, I like it here.
I have a dog named Ginger. If you have seen Anchorman, she looks exactly like Baxter. Probably should have capitalized on that when they were filming the most recent movie.
I like to stay healthy. I'm running more constantly, after a long hiatus of slacking. On average, I'm running 6 days per week. If I can get 7 days, then that's awesome.
I'm debating running the Go St. Louis 1/2 Marathon this spring. I have run marathons before and I'm having serious mental block when it comes to running another one. I go in between "never again" to "maybe".
I try to eat paleo on a regular basis but I have small issue with sugar. I have the worst sweet tooth but it is getting better. I'm definitely not one of those people who broads on the disordered eating with the paleo diet. However I do feel better without fast food or processed foods in my diet.
One thing to get out of the way: I'm an only child. Yes, you can save all your princess or spoiled brat comments. I love my parents and I know they would do anything for me. However, if I really want something, I'll get it myself. I do talk to my parents at least every other day. They visit quite a bit. My dad is retire and my mom is on her way to being retired, so they have vacation time.
Speaking the only child factor, I do tend to be a little bit more independent than most women. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing (I have heard it's bad thing). If you don't want someone who is constantly calling or texting you all hours of the day, then I'm the one for you. Granted, I will want to talk to you but I'm not clingy at all.
Clinginess goes both ways and I have a hard time dealing with clingy man. So, you know, have a hobby or activity to keep yourself busy. We will be all good.
I'm really looking forward to finally meeting a cool, stand-up, funny, and smart St. Louis guy. If you liked what you read, then send me message. I look forward to hearing from you.
