I know I haven't been on OkCupid in quite some time but now I'm back!

I currently live in a horribly boring city located in Wisconsin where there is absolutely nothing to do unless you find happy hour at Bingo exciting. I am originally from Jacksonville, NC and grew up on Camp Lejeune. Sometime within the next year or two I hope to move back.

I currently am a student so most of the week I am stuck in a classroom, but when I do get time I like to hang out with friends, go to concerts, party, shop, etc.

I have an amazing best friend named Nova who I love with my whole heart. People joke that she is my other half but I honestly feel like she is. I can go to her about anything and she always seems to say the right things even if it's hard for me to hear. I don't know what I would do without her in my life.

I like to play video games such as Halo, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, and more. I hate the game Katamari Damacy but yet I keep finding myself playing it because it passes time. If you don't know what it is, you're not missing out on anything.

I enjoy dressing up and am focused on my appearance. I never know when I'm going to meet someone new and people say first impressions last the longest so I like to make sure that I make a good one.

My favorite sport is tennis but it's difficult to find someone who actually knows how to play. If you do we should become friends. I need someone to play against desperately; preferably someone who is good. I also love soccer.

My favorite types of music are metal and rap. I absolutely hate country, and I love classic novels, especially British Literature.

Oh, and I like to blow shit up!

I am currently still attending high school. Since I am still young I am trying to get the basics down and find myself but I suppose I'll be doing that for the rest of my life.

After I complete high school I am hoping to attend college in North Carolina but things have been changing so I don't know where I'll be in a few years from now. I am the type of person who likes to have a plan. I need structure in my life so I'm trying to figure everything out all over again and I'm not a huge fan of doing that.

I really want to go to Haiti with the Haiti Charity Hope Foundation sometime in the near future. People thing that the U.S. being 12.7% living in poverty is extremely bad, but 80% of Haiti is living in poverty. Along with that fact there are several more unfortunate, shocking statistics. I think about a lot of things but I rather not discuss them with people that I hardly even know. To get to know what goes on in my head I rather you be someone close to me that I feel comfortable telling my thoughts to.

So what I am saying is that you'll have to get to know me to ever figure me out.

I'm usually with friends or at a party but sometimes I just enjoy sitting at home and watching lifetime movies with Nova.

Also if my little brother is over we enjoy doing stupid things like accidentally lighting firecrackers in my hand or terrorizing Nova and playing pranks that sometimes can go too far. When we're bored and have no where to go we can find enjoyment in just having a squirt gun fight or doing things that we probably shouldn't do that we're thankful we haven't lost a limb.

I'm beyond superficial and shallow. My thoughts are that everyone is but some are more or less than others. Everyone judges someone by their appearance at first. I just don't try to hide the fact that I am. With that being said I am extremely selective with the people I talk to so if you write me and I don't respond don't write me again.

Also I have been diagnosed with OCD a few years back and it still affects my life. I think that I have come a long way with it but every now and then it becomes obvious to anyone. I'm trying to work on it.

I really like the 1950's and if I could pick a time to go back to and life in it would probably be then. I like the thought of a steroetypical perfect family where the woman stays home and her husband is just coming back from the war when they start a family together. Sure, it's sappy romance that isn't true but it's nice to dream about.

I also like the twenties because of the age of the flapper, but that's just for the fashion.
