My self-summary
I would say that I am a well-rounded person. It's hard to summarize any one person, there are a lot of things which make us unique. So, what I want for people to know about me is that I am intelligent, kind, driven, and entertaining.

I've lived in upstate NY for almost three years now. I'm moving to PA over the summer, to get a second Master's degree.

I am very comfortable in most situations, accepting things for what they are at any point in time.

I follow my heart. It makes for some interesting decisions, yet it's the only way things make sense for me. I'm learning new things about the world, always. Everything is amorphous, and works out just fine.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently, I teach Psychology and Statistics. In the summers, I work on an organic vegetable farm. It makes me very happy.

I love to learn new concepts and skills, this keeps life exciting. I miss being on the learning side of the classroom. A doctorate in Neuroscience sounds like great fun, heading back to school this fall!

I like to stay active, mostly hiking, dancing, and working out at the gym.
I’m really good at
I'm a good dancer, and a good listener.
The first things people usually notice about me
Physically? My smile, usually. Or my eyes. And I tend to give off a calm vibe, even when I'm full of energy. It works!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: My favorite authors are HST, Vonnegut, Augusten Burroughs, Paulo Coelho, Haruki Murakami, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Palahniuk, Nabokov, Tom Robbins... The last book I read was "The Perks of Being a Wallflower", always looking for new suggestions.

Movies: My favorite movie is Solaris (the original Russian version). I like movies that make me think, and ones that make me laugh. Limitless,The Rage in Placid Lake, City of Lost Children, The Fifth Element, Zoolander...

I do not own a television. Sometimes I watch shows on the computer.

Music: Anything from electronica to jam bands to hip hop... Live shows are great. Mike Doughty, Soul Coughing, Tool, Xavier Rudd, Pretty Lights, Kid Cudi, Emancipator (January 2th!!!), Skrillex, Squarepusher, Parov Stelar, Gogol Bordello... Live shows are awesome, going the Bug Jar later!

Food: I like the cuisines of other countries, what I've tried anyway. About 95% of what I consume at home is local, organic produce. I think it's important to know where our food comes from and the long-term consequences of our current growing practices.
The six things I could never do without

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think a lot about my life and where it's heading. But just thinking is limiting, I take action!

I think a lot, in general, about everything. I like it!
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends, dancing. Or I am taking it easy, depending on how I feel. It's always nice.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Wearing pants is a hassle. But, you know, social norms dictate! XD

Kidding aside, I'm proud of all the choices I've made to get to where I am, so I will answer any and all questions, as long as I trust someone.
