My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an artist. It's the path my life has taken. I am fortunate that I'm able to sell what I make and I currently have pieces of art in six different businesses around Seattle.

I don't drink, smoke, or do illegal drugs. I do this as a personal choice. I don't judge others if they choose to.

I am polyamorous, it fits the way I look at life, however I am fine with being monogamous if my partner is. My last two relationships were with individuals who wished for our relationship to stay monogamous.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a manager for a local comic book store.

With my free time I'm either working on art or having fun playing roleplaying games.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Just about anything I put my mind to.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Random encounter I once had:

A guy on the bus who was staring at me said “You have the most wonderful aura, I can tell you’re a kind person.” Then he just got off the bus. It kind of stuck with me and makes me smile when I think about it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love books. At one point in my life I had five bookcases of books double stacked deep and a pile starting on the floor begging for another. When I liquidated my collection it took two trips to Half Price Crooks.. books, to unload them. (trunk, backseat, and passenger seat were full both times.) When I moved to my new place I had to trim down again, Took a duffle bag full (it was HEAVY).
A snippet of what is currently on my shelf: Wild Card series (complete) edited by George R.R. Martin, 3 shelves of Roleplaying Books, The Hobbit by Tolkien, Practical watch repair, the bible, The complete Metalsmith by McCraight, Watchmen, and The Anarchists Cookbook. (those are what I can see from my desk, I have a few more.)

On movies I am also a lover and my tastes are just as wide and varied. During the purge I went down from 200 movies to maybe 20. Firefly –Season 1, Wizard of oz, Nothing but Trouble, Earth girls are easy, Jeremiah –season 1, First Blood, Terminator 2, Venture brothers season 1, Streets of Fire, Brazil, Sin City.

I don’t own a TV by choice. However I love Doctor Who, Torchwood, Star Trek: DSN, Burn Notice, Warehouse 13, Alphas, Soul Eater, Baccano, Boardwalk Empire, Deadwood, Gotham, and even a little My Little Pony (Don’t laugh).

Music I have over 15 Gigs of music, pretty much everything other than modern rap and modern “country.” On rap modern means anything written after the late 80’s early 90’s.

Food is the only real addiction I have. I love a well cooked steak just as much as a good butter chicken or red curry. I love cooking with pineapple. I make a mean omelet and my Killer Mac and Cheese (from scratch none of that box junk), standard trade for my cooking skills is someone doing the dishes afterward.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
One: My personal illusion of freedom.
Two: The ability to be true to myself.
Three: affection, physical and emotional.
Four: The rare people who call me their friend.
Five: Being able to creating something.
Six: The ability to question the world around me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything, nothing, and something. My mind is going over something or chewing at a problem all of the time. It keeps me up at night with constant quandaries and calculations.

When I am working on a painting, converting a miniature, making a wire tree, making a twisted metal ring, or even planning to cook myself something for breakfast. Hundreds if not thousands of thoughts flash through my mind like a Midwestern thunderstorm.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I will be working from 4 pm till 12 am running a Magic the Gathering event for my store. I do it every Friday. Most of the time my Saturdays are free however. Which I generally devote to painting or wandering around the city.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am an open book so if you want to know something about me just ask. However this comes with a warning, don’t ever ask me something you didn't want to know. I have no problem giving all the details about myself on something. You have been warned.

I am one of the founding staff of Geek Girl Con. It is something I'll always be proud of.
