What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to make movies, writing stuff, playing music. And probably lots of other activities in between those, but movies is the big one.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not answering questions like these.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height!
Also that 95% of the time I'm wearing a band shirt.
And sometimes I laugh really hard at things that don't deserve all that much laughter.

Movies: Movies (watching, thinking about, writing) are basically what I do with my life. If I listed everything here you'd be reading a book, so I'll try to keep it to essay-length.

I love me some Scorsese, Tarantino, Fincher, Kevin Smith, PTA, Wes Anderson, Nolan, Rian Johnson, the Coens, Kubrick, Bennett Miller and lots and lots of other directors.

Some other random favorites are Star Wars (the originals and hopefully all the new ones :]), Love Actually, The Place Beyond the Pines, Lord of the Rings, 500 Days of Summer, The Godfather I and II, The Wizard of Oz, In Bruges, Frank, Whiplash, Mad Max (seriously, how good was Fury Road?), Inside Out, Monster, The Friends of Eddie Coyle, and I'm a sucker for a good comic book movie.

TV Shows: BREAKING BAD. 30 Rock, Always Sunny, Better Call Saul, South Park, Louie, Frasier, How I Met Your Mother, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Friends, Parks and Recreations, Malcom in the Middle, Arrested Development.

Music: Pink Floyd is number one. Always. I also love The Beatles, of course, Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Gorillaz, Porcupine Tree (and Steven Wilson in general), John Mayer, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, System of a Down and others.

Books: I don't read nearly as much as I'd like to (the usual story), but some of my favorites are: In Cold Blood, The Shining, Harry Potter, The Outsiders, The Road, The Spy Who Came in From the Cold as well as lots and lots of comic books.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Movies
2. Music
3. Friends
4. Water
5. Oxygen
6. Fruit
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The random stuff I see throughout the day.
What chords are in the songs I'm listening to.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with a few of my best friends, probably watching a movie, jamming or walking around the city and talking about dumb irrelevant shit or very heavy life changing shit. I like the balance!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a deep and passionate obsession with the G chord.
And also Batman.

Also I saw The Place Beyond the Pines an embarrassing amount of times in theaters.

Also I use "also" a lot as a transition between unrelated topics.
