My self-summary
5'11" 180 lbs. with hazel eyes and brown (some say ash) hair. I'm cute, funny, and swell at parties. I am a classic movie whore. The more black and white, the better. On my i-pod you'll find everything from Frank Sinatra to Eels to Claudine Longet to the Carpenters. I like having fun. And I make sure anyone who is with me has at least as much fun as I'm having. When I go out I generally prefer bars and restaurants where I can connect with the people I'm with. Oh, and I'm makeoutable. Say hello guys!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an exec at a pay cable network. I help decide what goes on TV. Neat-o! I also just graduated with a degree in Classic Film History. Also neat-o!
I’m really good at
Talking, laughing, making out, impressing with my old movie knowledge, imitating Paul Lynde, eating good food, drinking fine wines, hank-panky, and having an all around good time.
The first things people usually notice about me
My laugh, my smile, my personality- and if you get close enough, my eyes. Don't discount the ability of my heinie to draw attention as well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books- Memoirs of Hadrian, Devil in the White City, Down the Street- Lynda Barry, The Monster at the End of This Book (Love that Grover!), East of Eden, The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt, The Alienist, Scarlet Letter, Joan Crawford's-My Way of Life, Carter Beats the Devil, Amphigorey, Little Me, My Memoirs (Currently titled: "The Ass Menagerie.") Music- Mamas & the Papas, Bjork, Ella Fitxgerald, Frank Sinatra, XTC, Kay Starr, Elvis, P!nk, Esquivel, Helen Reddy, Annie Lennox, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Velvet Goldmine Soundtrack, Garbage, Petula Clark, Nat King Cole, Ben Folds, Alanis Morisette, Hedwig & the Angry Inch Soundtrack, The Beatles, Kiki & Herb, Magnetic Fields, Flaming Lips, Eels, Apples in Stereo, Drunk Judy... Food- Italian, Thai, American Home-cooking. Top restaurants: Penelope, Sosa Borella, Bucca du Bacco.
The six things I could never do without
My movie collection, my I-tunes, Penelope Restaurant, my vintage shirts, my friends, and tubtime (feel free to ask.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Future movie scripts, the song in my head when I woke up, What Would Joan Do?, dinner, and handsome men.
On a typical Friday night I am
Unwinding with something boozey. If I'm not meeting friends for dinner and drinks at an endearing locale, I'm hosting a movie night at chez moi. If Cupid is feeling generous- I'm out on a date with someone romantic and charming. If all that fails, I get a bottle and hang out in my bathtub for tubtime followed by Underwear Dancing
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Aforementioned Underwear Dancing.
You should message me if
You are smart, funny, and someone who has something to say. And being cute never hurt neither.
