Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have decided that this box has become my arch-nemesis. I keep
writing and rewriting this box until I finally am happy with the
result. I then leave it for a couple of weeks before I look at it
again only to be amazed at how dumb or cliche it sounds. I then
lather, rinse, and repeat. So this time I have decided to go with a
more organized, bullet point style. In a couple of weeks I will
look at this and wonder why on earth I ever thought this was a good
Key Personality Traits:
Laid Back: I tend to go with the flow. I don't get frustrated or
angry easily, and always try to be happy without being annoyingly
Sarcastic: Definitely my preferred form of humor, I use it every
chance I get. What can I say? The world always needs more
Intelligent: I've always been smart and motivated and I work hard
to better myself. I can easily carry on political, philosophical or
literary conversations if you want.
My guess however is that there isn't a guy on this website that
doesn't say he is some variation of relaxed, funny, and smart. (I
haven't actually looked to confirm this, because then I would have
to search through other dudes' profiles and I don't think my
masculinity can withstand that) So here is another list of traits
that hopefully separate me from the rest of the pack.
Nerdy, Composed, Klutzy, Excitable, Patient, Passionate, Dedicated.
I may add others as I think of them.
Hobbies and Interests:
Movies: I love watching movies all of genres, though I am not a big
fan of horror, particularly slasher films. I can talk about movies
until I am blue in the face, so if you have a particular favorite,
I'd love to hear it.
Computers: Whether it is working on them or playing with them, I
get a lot of joy out tinkering around with electronics. Been doing
this from a young age, and there is a reason this is the career I
am getting into. If you love your job, you won't work a day in your
Cars: My dad is a car guy, and the gene got passed on down to me.
He and I started working on them before I started driving, and the
Mustang in my pictures is the one that we have been working
Hopefully you were able to get somewhat of a picture of me from
that. Also hopefully you aren't thinking I'm a total windbag after
reading it all.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Being a smart ass. It is a rough job, but somebody has to answer
I started working at a local engineering firm at the beginning of
this summer, and am taking some time off to continue working there
and get some job experience before I graduate. It pays the bills
and keeps me out of trouble. Well, mostly out of trouble anyways.
While I am working I am taking a few classes at CU, so I am in
Boulder a lot during the week. I will go back to Cornell in the
fall to finish my computer science degree and will be pursuing the
dream of video game programming after I graduate.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
"I would never tell him this, but they are the best at what they
do, and they specialize in the ridiculous." - The A-Team
Being ridiculous is my specialty. There is a time and place to be
serious, but life is too short to be serious all the time. My goal
is to single-handedly make the world a more interesting place,
whether by riding dinosaur statues, or creating new foods like
waffleburgers. (The origins of the waffleburger is a quite humorous
story, and the end result was quite delicious)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a Jedi braid.
If you want further explanation, I got bored in high school and
decided to grow one. Over the years, it has grown on me. (Pun very

Books: There is a reason my room has 3 filled bookshelves. I love
to read; almost always fiction though I do have a soft spot for
history. My most recent reads have been A Wise Man's Fear, the Song
of Ice and Fire series, and the Jason Bourne series.
Movies: I firmly believe that Die Hard is the greatest Christmas
movie every made. Love, Actually would be in second place. I love
watching all movies other than horror, so it is real easy to find
movies that we will both like. (Being a guy, the Twilight series
counts as horror films)
Shows: I don't watch many shows. I do try to keep up with Doctor
Who and Big Bang Theory. I also catch the occasional episode of How
I Met Your Mother or Top Gear.
Music: Classic Rock. Favorite bands are Bruce Springsteen,
Fleetwood Mac, Journey, or Styx. That being said, I enjoy listening
to pretty much any music, just not bad rap (Lil' Jon and
Food: I have yet to find anyone who enjoys a hamburger more than I
do, and will eat one any chance I get. I also really enjoy pizza,
grilled cheese, and breakfast food. I'm a pretty simple guy when it
comes to food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Bonus Points to anyone else who thought this was a stupid question.
As you can tell, I only took it half seriously.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Movies, the future, Dinosaurs, tupperware. Anything and everything
that happens to seem relevant at the moment.

Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually hanging out with friends. I don't have anything I do every
week, but it ranges from going out to eat, watching a movie,
playing games, just hanging around shooting the breeze, or whatever
else catches our fancy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cried at the end of My Girl. I dare you to make it to the end
without crying at least a little.
In actuality, I am willing to talk about most anything, no matter
how embarrassing, so just ask me what you want to know. And yes, I
do realize that the previous statement is written on at least half
the profiles on here.
