The names Chris I am extremely into fitness and health. I love to travel and have visited a fair chunk of Europe so far, Asia is next on the agenda. I'm a fairly sarcastic individual with a very dark sense of humor. I am also very laid back and easily amused. Though I must stress that this isn't due to "The wheel's spinning but the hamster's dead" syndrome; I'm quite intelligent actually. Rather it's because I find the statement "enjoy the little things" to be all too true; life's too short for one not to do so.

I am eccentric, sarcastic, and dependable

I divide up my free time up between chilling with friends and working out. I'm pretty much either at the movies; at a bar; or at the gym.

As for academics or life goals, I have done a year of University in Psychology, but just switched into computers. I am going to be done with said program in roughly 15 months and will then be aiming for a Network Admin job for some large corporation.

I guess after that my grand adventure begins :D

Remaining calm: When "shit hits the fan" and everyone is screaming bloody murder and freaking out; I'm the guy calmly assessing the situation.

I am also very good at comforting people and helping them work through their problems. I am so good at this in fact that I once did so while unconscious. That isn't to say that I was lulled to sleep from their complaining but rather that a friend started gushing on me while I was sleeping which resulted in me instinctively (and quite humorously) responding and answering back.
(Uhuh...ok.. I'm so sorry to hear that... uhuh....don't worry things will get better). I'm pretty sure I missed my calling in life, I should have become a therapist/psychologist; then I could make money while I sleep.

Right now the first thing people notice is my lack of hair :D or my Indiana Jones hat that I wear everyday.

After that it's always "your crazy". Not the bad it's time to lock you away crazy (don't worry it's coming ;), rather the hahaha type.
My record to date is 2 minutes from first meeting the person to the statement being uttered; and the conversation involved skydiving and a scrumptious breakfast food.

Food wise I am a bit of a health nut. I don't eat junk food of any kind and very rarely touch anything sweet. I have basically taken all fatty or trans fat ridden foods out of my diet for good. Though I am a sucker for Asian cuisine and will try anything;and yes that dose mean I'm up for some kitty stir fry. As long as it tastes good I couldn't care less.

Entertainment wise; I go for dark themed books/movies. As an example Sweeney Todd (my favorite movie); V for Vendetta; Watchmen; The Divine Comedy; Faust; Sword of Truth series.

As for music I love old rock (think Pink Floyd; The Police Van Halen) but I'm more of a metal head. Some of my favorite metal bands are: Kamelot; Angtoria; NightWish; Epica; Judas Priest.

I have a very broad taste in music and will listen to everything EXCEPT Rap. I have been known to go see operas at the theater :) much to the horror of my friends whom I have dragged kicking and screaming along with me.

In this I'd like to take the Buddhist viewpoint that I could live without all things; but reality says otherwise.

Aside from the basic essentials air; water; and food; I could never live without warm clothing. I've got no body fat and no hair which means while all the fat jolly people are singing Christmas carols in the "beautiful" -20 weather .... I'm a corpsicle.

I also could never live without my awesome friends; a computer; music; Asian cuisine; and a gym membership.

Life; the universe; human nature; what makes people tick; human ignorance; what the future holds; why is all the rum gone?

Out with a bunch of people having a good time.
