My self-summary
I'm single and I'd enjoy meeting up for some mutually-honoring, open-hearted, hot & cozy sexy grooviness with a smart, playful sweetheart. Integrity, honesty, comfortableness in your own skin, safe practices, and warm concern for each other's well-being are musts for me ~ and I'd love for them to be for you, too. One aspect: I practice Tantra - I'd be especially excited to engage you at that level, if you are so inclined (or feel you might be interested in exploring). I put this NY profile up when I was last in town (where I grew up & where fam are). I figure on leaving it up, as I come back with some frequency, and NYC peeps rock! And some of you come out to LA, too, so, who knows?

Vibes I like in life:
Being, seeing, sensing, sharing. Laughing, opening, nurturing, catalyzing. Delving, discovering, and doing. Learning, caring, teaching. Expanding and contracting.

Waves, flow patterns, growth, erosion, landscape, the atmosphere, flight, astronomy. High-energy phenomena, like fire, electricity, stars, and minds...plus slow, subtle stuff, with intricacy and texture. The sublime.

Language, communication, psychology, emotion, the body.
The dance and the beat, the stretch and the sleep.
Nesting, kneading, massage (certified massage tech), meditation, ocean-swimming, camping, hiking, hot springs.

Art (esp post 1860s), photography, film, music, architecture the sciences.
Community, environment, energy.

Humor, wackiness, funny voices, hi-jinx and who-haa.
Warm fuzzies

What I’m doing with my life
Fine artist. I use immersive techniques to explore modern culture, science, spirituality, & nature. General doings: moving projects through the pipeline; exhibiting work; meetings & conferences; learning new techniques. Just got a sweet new studio, so I'm busy setting that up. Commercially, I'm creative as a sound mixer on an ongoing TV series for a documentary channel and for projects at an LA museum. I'm often out in the waves and the woods ~ or melding with art, music and cultural randomness.
I’m really good at
Imagination. Exciting others' sense of wonder. Seeing the big picture. Being playful! Jumping in. Dorkin' it up.
3D landscape photography, meditative sound installations, film&vid. Writing
Chowin' down fruits & veggies; making super-rockin' shakes. Grooving in the wild lands.
Listening. Communicating.
Championing, acknowledging, adapting.
Owning up.
Seeing from other points of view.
Vocal styling, beatbox, wit, cracking you up.
Orienting by starlight.
Touch.
Sex.

Minimalism, and emotive symphonic stuff), hip-hop (esp. funky, sexy stuff), hardcore, experimental/art, and electronic stuff out the wazzoo: breakbeat, minimal techno, psytrance, deephouse, D&B, ambient. Faves include: Pink Floyd, The Clash, Yes, The Who, Arcade Fire, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, J. The six things I could never do without
Paradoxes
Possibilities
Stories
The unknown
Duct tape
The occasional foghorn (I like the sound)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to contribute. When I'm present, I notice that the thinking part of myself is usually oriented toward figuring out the next moment or interpreting the previous one. The feeling part and flowing part? Usually a wide-eyed dance with life.
On a typical Friday night I am
gazing out the windows of the International Space Station.
