My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am invested in living my life as an unfolding myth. I am wholly taken with the arts of self-transformation, and love spending time with similarly intense, creative people. I have a wanderer's spirit that I have grounded and transmuted and tend to journey more inwardly than I do around the world. I have deeply political values, and am probably as "left" as they come. I am a scholar of yoga. I am as ridiculous as I am serious. I am more interested in people, direct communication, and intimate stories than I am in just about anything else.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
The big picture answer to this question, at least consciously, is that I'm Waking Up. At least that's what I'm committed to.
Practically speaking, I work full-time on a psychiatric unit as a drama therapist. I also teach yoga and yoga teacher trainings, and facilitate transformational group processes. I make theatre as part of this larger work. My first love is music.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Seeing and deeply respecting other people's realities, conjuring up infinite creative possibilities, collaborating, calling upon my inner-rascal to maneuver mischievously in dominant culture paradigms, composing songs for wild voices, pining quietly and loving purely.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Big eyes, curly hair, 5'2 with a whole lotta expression.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friendship and all forms of love.
yoga/spiritual practice.
creative process/collaboration
singing/music
NYC.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
People's hidden narratives. Nurture/nature debates.
How to turn what I see or feel into music.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I relish in the sacred times of the week when we're all given permission to slip into subversiveness. I love expanding the quaint, the hushed, the calm.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hmmm…I don't think any of the things I could say in this box indicate true vulnerability. Those sacred interiors come with trust and time, regardless of how much we all feel apt to share awesome, factual eccentricities.
