SHE HAS:
-The best laughter, light, gingerly and with much verve.
-Many interests and no time to pursue them, like a good jack-of-all-trades-in-modernity

SHE IS:
-Complex but doesn't take herself too seriously.
-Quick with a quip but always tender.
-Rather prone to whimsy, which is a euphemism for "extreme quirk," which is really a euphemism for something indescribable.

SHE CAN:
-Stand on one foot, but not too long
-Touch her chin with her tongue but not her nose
-Can sit on a rocking chair but not in winter time, because it's much too cold, and it's time to go home anyways.

SHE MAKES:
-Foods that taste like air and condiments-- iceberg lettuce with ketchup, asian pear with jam,
-Too many type-os (hence the typing intervention) because she never learned to touch-type (instead two-finger types very fast, though a bit noisy).

SHE LIKES:
-The odd, the artsy, and the nerdy because she can appreciate many forms of insanity. (But if you try too hard as many hipsters do, she will crack up.)

In her past life, she worked for a micro-finance organization; now she's working for legal counseling and public service. This narrator thinks she's much too modest about her professional abilities and too fraught about ethical responsibility (but I also think that's what makes her so wonderful, and at the end of the day, she can wash it away with a drink and a giggle.)

-Languages.
-Making people feel warm and good.
-Listening to stories, though she's not the best storyteller herself (they always meander somewhere else, but perhaps that's amusing in itself).
-Laughing at the world, while being completely engaged with its tragedies.

Tall stature, striking big smile, swaying movements. (Among our friends, we call her our Beethoven because she cuddles and loves you like a St. Bernard-- you can nuzzle her, but she may fall asleep on you...)

-LOOK, we all know the drills of facebook world, and I can list her cultural paradigms (her love of Alex Pareene and William Wimsatt, her ability to appreciate high and low culture, from Zoolander to Damien Rice to Amitav Ghosh).
-BUT you can discuss taste and interest and all things eclectic, if and when you get to know her-- that's half the fun, eh?
-SUFFICE to say, she reads voraciously, is an excellent conversationalist and can drink you under the table.

This narrator presumes...
-sense of humor
-dangly earrings,
-museums,
-buddies,
-red wine,
-enthralling works of fiction,
-breaking nonsensical rules (like the # of items on a list)

Who knows? My guess is... in the library when she's in nerd-mode, otherwise whatever the city of Austin has to offer-- she's a New Yorker transplanted in Texas, but seems surprisingly amused by the sunny state

You like creative, curious, confident, spontaneous, intelligent-- and can teach her how to type properly (really, for all our friends' sakes-- we can't handle any more undecipherable emails.) Oh, and if you won't question the veracity of the narrator.
