Does anyone take this question seriously? I don't know you people!

I’m hoping to meet someone who is open to spending some time enjoying one another's company and seeing where things lead. I'm not looking for a pen pal or someone who wants to spend forever sending messages before meeting in person. I think online dating is a great way to interact with people you wouldn't have met otherwise, but meeting in person is really the only way to know if there's a chance at compatibility. So I'm all for meeting somewhat early on. It's just dinner or a beer, nothing too scary!
