I am nerdy, compulsive, and imaginative.

My Self-Summary

Firsts things first, the big stuff. I'm bi, atheist, and a big geek. (My profile name come from my first DnD character.) I'm new in Houston, just a little small town Cajun boy trying to make it in this big city and so far I love it. I'm going to the Art Institute for Digital Film-Making and Production, and my dream job is to become a writer/director. I'm here to try and meet people, being in a new city it's hard sometimes. I'm hoping I can meet some interesting people to help me get settled.

What I’m doing with my life

Well, I've made the big move from Nowhere, Louisiana to Houston to go to the Art Institute. I'm studying Digital Film-making and Video Production (which is a fancy way of saying "I'm gonna make movies") and just enjoying this city. Currently I'm looking for a job because being a broke college kid sucks.

I’m really good at

I'm a big nerd, so I'm good at video games and stuff. Other than that, I don't think I'm the most talented person, though I'm fairly good at debating. I love to pick a subject and battle it out with someone, it's always interesting to see other people's side of things.

The first things people usually notice about me

I almost always have some sort of hat on (usually a fedora or flat cap), but besides that I really don't stand out in a crowd.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I'm a big fan of fantasy and science-fiction, especially cyberpunk and steampunk. My favorite authors are Neil Stephenson, Chuck Palahniuk, and Robert Jordon.

I'm a HUGE movie fan, especially cheesy B-movies and gory horror. Now for the list: Pulp Fiction, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Serenity, Indiana Jones (Lets just pretend Crystal Skull never happened though, ok?), Snatch, Blade Runner, Star Wars, Labyrinth, Shawn of the Dead, Say Anything, Romeo + Juliet, Eternal Sunshine on a Spotless Mind...and that's just some off the top of my head.

Music? Oy, this list will be even longer. I'll just put it this way: I like a little of everything from Metal to Classical to Hip-hop. Some of my favorite artists: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nujabes, Muse, RJD2, David Bowie, Queens of the Stone Age, Stone Temple Pilots, Dr. Steel, VNV Nation, Reel Big Fish, and plenty more.

Food? Yes please. I'm a Cajun, so I love spicy foods the best but I love to try new things all the time. I really enjoy sushi, Chinese, and of course Creole/Cajun but that's so hard to find.

The six things I could never do without

1.) Internet. I'm addicted, even if I'm just siting here looking and silly pictures of cats I need to get on the net.

2.) Music. I have a little soundtrack going on it my head at all times, without some good tunes I'd go nuts.

3.)Second Life. I've made so many friends on that game, I'd be very hard-pressed to leave it.

4.)Movies. There's nothing like longing on the couch with some friends or a loved one and watching a movie.

5.)Privacy. I've gotta have my space now and then, the hardest thing about being here is having to share a room with someone. Thankfully my room-mate is equal reclusive.

6.)Good Food. Some people can survive on bread and water alone. I'm not one of those people...Unless you put Tony Thachere's seasoning on it.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My mind wanders over a lot of things, never staying on one topic long. It's all pretty chaotic in there.

On a typical Friday night I am

Sitting in front of this computer screen playing Second Life or hanging out with my room-mate. I like going out to the movies and going out for dinner. But I also liking going to a bar or a club though I don't know what places to go to around here.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Part of me is clinging to the idea of the fairy tale romance, where everything works out and everyone lives happily ever after. Though I know it's not that easy.

You should message me if

If you want to? If you find me interesting and want to know more about me. I love to meet new people and talk, so hit me up.
