I am layered like onions, cakes, and more cakes.

My Self-Summary

I'm not very good at talking about myself but I'll give it a go. I'm a very honest and silly person. At first glance I'm often shy but once people get to know me they'll find out that I'm quite bold and outspoken.

I'm a very gentle person and I've always been fond of animals and nature. At work I'm always being told that I need to be rougher when I'm doing things like swinging a hammer.

I like to sleep and be nice to people.

I'm one of those people who likes the English language and types everything out in full without abbreviations.

I don't like crowds and interrupting people

I am secretly Liz Lemon.

I find that popular music is just popular for the sake of being popular.

I have a few mottos that I live my life by.
"Do what is right because it is right."
"I do what I do and at least I exist."
"I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything."

... Ok so that last one is from star wars but it's soo true.
Now in French
Bonjour! Je suis australien. J'adore chocolat.

j`ai froid. C`est normal. La fenêtre est ouverte.

Je ne parle pas très bein freançais. Pouvez-vous m'aider?

What I’m doing with my life

I'm a pallet racker which means I got into warehouses and build giant shelves for forklifts. It's really dusty and I need to wash my hair everyday but it's earning me money, I get to use power tools and there's a sense of accomplishment at the end of the job.

I plan on moving to Montreal next year but I have to aline a few planets first. When I get there I dream of restoring old houses but I'll probably do the worst jobs the city has to offer just to pay the bills for the first few months.

I'm also trying to learn French but it's crazy hard for me to pronounce.

I’m really good at

Music! - It was my best subject in High School and now I play 3 instruments, ukulele, bass and piano. I picked up the ukulele almost a year ago and I've made a few recordings on with it. Mostly covers of songs that people wouldn't normally associate with a ukulele like "Such Great Heights" by The Postal Service or "One Month Off" by Bloc Party. I've been told that I'm quite good and my biggest claim to fame is that I'm on a few of my friends' ipods.
Gaming - I'm kind of a closet nerd in this regard. Even though I only have a PS2 I can go over to my friend's place and hold my own at everything they throw at me. I've also got a soft spot for boardgames, war games and pen and paper role playing games.
I spent a lot of time with working with tools from Tafe and work so I'm pretty good at fixing and making things.
Coming up with the silliest things (like calling okcupid, s'ok stupid).
Thinking of the best thing to say in any situation... about 20 minutes after it would be useful.
Swearing and yelling at people in such a way that they are laughing the whole time :)
Giving honest advise, remembering useless information, getting along with people, hugging, having fun and puzzles

The first things people usually notice about me

It's usually "you smile a lot", "You're really blond", "you don't talk much" or "will you shut up about Canada?"

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Favourite book: the hitchicker's guide to the galaxy.

Movies: garden state, shaun of the dead, hot fuzz, there will be blood, no country for old men, star wars (the original trilogy), do the right thing and all of kevin smiths' films.

TV: The Wonder Years, The Might Boosh, Weeds, 30 Rock, The Office, Thundercats, The Attack Of The Show, The IT Crowd, Deadwood, Skins, Dexter, Breaking Bad and random documentaries.

Music: Sunset Rubdown, Stars, Camera Obscura, of Montreal, Los Campesinos!, Bright Eyes, Death From Above 1979, Jenny Lewis (With and Without the Watson Twins), Justice, The Grates, Broken Social Scene, I Heart Hiroshima, SoKo, Land of Talk, An Horse, Sonic Youth, Amy Millan, Dead Child Star and Memphis. I could go on.

Food: I love to bake! I'm really good at it and I think that cakes and cookies will bring about world peace.

The six things I could never do without

Music - I could live without it but what would be the point?
My Ukulele - I'm taking it upon myself to learn the dorkiest songs ever written. So far the best is "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor
Knowing which button is jump.
Kindness - I can't stop giving it and I'll be damned if I'm not thankful every time I receive it.
Comedy - I'm always up for a good laugh. I don't think I've met anyone who I haven't made laugh.
My Phone - I'm constantly checking for messages.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I try to think in French a lot but I don't know enough to do it so I just look like I'm struggling with something.

On a typical Friday night I am

Friday is games day at my friend's place where we all get nerdy and roll dice till the early morning.

but on other night I'm either at home listening to music, playing music, or I'm out enjoying some live music.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I still giggle and blush :$

Also I have chronic insomnia. That means I have insomnia that comes and goes not that I get can't get to sleep after smoking pot.

You should message me if

Your nice and you think we'd get along or we share interests. You don't have to be into music as I obviously, most of my friends like christian rock. It's just really easy to talk to fellow indie freaks but I do value a good taste in music almost as much as kindness.
