My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a realist, an optimist (yes, you can be both), and what I like to consider a hope-ful romantic. To steal someone else's words, "I may not be perfect, but parts of me are pretty awesome." Although I am a successful businesswoman I still giggle to myself (and sometimes out-loud) when I find myself saying "do, do" in a meeting, or hear others make other (seemingly) unintended innuendos. I thought I was big on correct grammar and spelling but I recently had to google "The Oxford Comma" after reading about it in a bunch of profiles. I think one of the most depressing things in the world is cooking for yourself, by yourself. Except for the SPCA/ animal cruelty commercials with the Sarah Maclachlan song in them. Those are the worst!

But enough about me, let's talk about you. If you are someone who would be equally happy spending a day together on the couch binge watching classic movies in our pajamas, as you would be willing to wake up in the morning and decide to hop in the car and drive 150 miles on an adventurous whim... If you are are willing to be a dashboard drummer and duet partner, a scrabble adversary, and a beer tasting aficionado... If you are someone who is up for random whiffle ball games, quiet breakfasts with a shared coffee mug and a newspaper, and random road trips to towns just because we like the name or because they boast themselves as the home of the first cheese factory in the US... then I am definitely looking to meet you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Exploring new places or re-visiting treasured ones, finding craft breweries and playing sampler roulette with their tasting flights, hunting through used book stores, stumbling upon really great live music, creating masterpieces in the kitchen, kicking ass at board games....
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Jeopardy when the category is not mathematics or geography based. Throwing a perfect spiral. Translating maps. Folding T-shirts. Diffusing awkward situations with laughter. Handy things like changing door knobs and installing window shades. Back rubs.

Books: Most things by Dan Brown, Love in The Time of Cholera, Things I Overheard while Talking to Myself, The Five People You meet in Heaven, It's Not Easy Being Green, The Giver.

Movies: The Holiday, It's Complicated, Something's Gotta Give, 100 Girls, Public Enemies, The Goonies, The Merry Widow, Boondock Saints, Evening.

Shows: Catfish! (Oh C'mon that's funny!) The Voice, Rizzoli and Isles, NCIS, Unforgettable

Music: I see Sara Bareilles whenever she is in PA, MD, or VA, or all of the above. I supremely enjoy Random YouTube Artists and their collaborations. In the car or at work I am generally streaming county music which I grew up hating and somehow became my go-to after 2 years with the same roommate in college who didn't date a guy if he didn't own cowboy boots. Last five downloaded songs on my iTunes are 1. You shook Me All Night Long 2. All of the Stars 3. Can I 4. Where It's At, and 5. Stay With Me - The Voice winner's version.

Food: Pretty much anything. As an only child and Daddy's little girl I spent most of my formative years mimicking his culinary tastes which meant no seafood, nothing spicy, and well-done steaks. I have enjoyed spending the past decade trying all realms of new things and look forward to continue to do so!
