I am silly, confident, and quixotic.

My Self-Summary

Hey! I am a student at WSU trudging my way through the muck and the mire (both being math) in hopes of obtaining a teaching degree in either English or History within the next 2 years.

I am very close to my family and friends. I was once told that I will have few relationships in my life, but all will be extremely meaningful. I have definately found that to be true.

A few things you might need to know about me: 1)It's a Wonderful Life and Finding Neverland can make me get teary-eyed (I am somewhat of a sap, I admit) 2)I love movies, music, books, and sports. All play an important part of my life. I want to be a successful writer and all aspects of my life have helped me be who I am. 3)I believe in being a very true friend/boyfriend/brother/son/uncle and everything else I can be. I will always give my heart and my kindness completely. This can hurt me sometimes, but it is who I am. One of my favorite shows is How I Met Your Mother, and although I understand it is just a scripted show, my life seems to follow the meaning of that show. I have been told I am a lot like Ted with a bit of Marshall in me (hopefully no Barney). I guess what I am saying with this is I am the kind of guy that believes in treating people right, that is a hopeless romantic, and likes Belle & Sebastian :) Anyway, write me if you ever want to talk or have a question.

What I’m doing with my life

I am working on graduating from Weber State, learning as much as I can about myself and who I want to be, crushing the competition when it comes to useless knowledge, and being the best person I can be everyday.

I’m really good at

Useless knowledge such as movie and music trivia
Playing sports such as baseball, basketball, and bowling
Following the Atlanta Braves despite recent tough seasons
Not stepping on cracks in the cement
Stumbling over my own two feet
Exercising for at least an hour everyday
Discovering bands my friends have yet to discover

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes. They are a greenish color and therefore everyone seems to point them out. I have even been asked if I am wearing contacts...while wearing glasses.
My smile now that my braces have been taken off :) <----see!
My shyness. That is, until the person gets to know me better. Then it becomes my silliness.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: The Shining and most books by Stephen King. Albert Camus' The Stranger. A Walk in the Night. Almost any book of poetry. Let the Right One In. A Clockwork Orange.

Movies: This list could go on forever, but a few would be The Apartment, The Shining, Let the Right One In, Serendipity, Casablanca, Hearts In Atlantis, and pretty much any film by Ingmar Bergman or Billy Wilder.

Music: Travis (such an amazing band), American Hi-Fi, Val Emmich, Plushgun, Immaculate Machine, and the list goes on...

Food: The Spaghetti Factory and the Pasta Factory for sure, and a lot of meals I can cook at home such as lemon herb chicken or rice bowls.

The six things I could never do without

1) My family. They are always there for me and have made me a better person.

2) Perfection. It is always there to let me know that I am imperfect and therefore a true human being with emotions and a heart on my sleeve.

3) Books, movies, music, and sports. They are uncomparable when searching for the meaning of life that is unconceivable and therefore perfect for an afternoon of realizing the best things in life are shown in the arts.

4) Exercise. I am not obsessed with health or anything, but exercising is a perfect way to test myself.

5) San Diego and Spokane. Amazing cities. Please Mr. with the atomic bomb, please leave those two cities alone.

6) The belief that love is exists and I will one day find it.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My future, my friends, my family, school work, and how I can be a better man. How I can get the song "I'm not going to teach your boyfriend how to dance with you" out of my head.

On a typical Friday night I am

If I am not too busy working on assignments from class then I am spending time with my family or friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

That despite having the facade of liking healthy cereals I sometime give in to my inner child and munch on Boo Berries or Frankenberries, ooh, or even S'more flavored cereal!

You should message me if

If you would like a truly caring and honest friendship or relationship.

You would like to meet an honest guy who believes in chilvary and treating an amazing girl the best she deserves...which is always amazingly.

If you like movies, music, sports.

If you would like to talk and make friends and see what the future holds.
