Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
No. I'm not related to Bill Gates. Sorry...
So... me?! Well I'm passionate and enthusiastic about pretty much
everything I put my mind to - I like to get up and get things done
(although on the flip side there is sometimes nothing better than
just putting your feet up and chilling out with someone!)
Pretty much inquisitive to a fault. Page hopping on Wikipedia? Yep,
far too many hours of my life spent doing that. I love to explore
new cities and places too, especially if they have a rich
history/great architecture (or good restaurants...)
I swim a couple of times a week, although the sauna/steam room are
always there to lend a hand when I'm feeling too la- the pool is
too full up.
I enjoy spending nights out with my friends, although not
necessarily always clubbing, I'd much rather sit in a nice bar (or
even just in someone's flat!) having a good chat and drinking
copious amounts of red wine (white at a push, never rosé). That
being said if I am out at a club I do tend to get quite into it and
more often than not end up on the dance floor. I've been told I'm a
good dancer... not quite sure how much of that is due to actual
talent and how much is due to just being so bad it looks
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I completed a Master's in Museum and Heritage Management in 2012
and one day I'd love to have a job working in an educationaol role
within a museum. At the moment I have a very fulfilling job working
for Oxford University in their Department for Continuing Education,
primarily looking after their History and Archaeology
I have a lovely flat in Reading but I'd like to move out to Oxford
in the near future so that I can avoid the often horrible commute
every morning. If anyone is up for showing me the sights and hidden
gems in Oxford then I am very game for that!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Apparently I dance very well. You'll have to judge for
Pretty good at the whole swimming thing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
To be fair you've presumably seen the picture of me that's just up
there ^, so I'd imagine you could probably tell me what the first
thing you notice is?
I would probably say my smile. I have a great smile, or so I've
been told. Possibly my dancing if I'm at a club...

Books I enjoy a wide range which includes
fantasy/sci-fi/biographies/history as well as generic general
knowledge. You can never have too much general knowledge, you need
it so that you hopefully at least know one answer in a pub
Moviewise I have something of a soft spot for really bad 80's
action films and awful budget horror films. That being said I do
tend to watch a fair amount of films and apart from 'gore-porn'
films like SAW/Hostel which just disgust me I'll watch pretty much
anything! (Even Romcoms... Splash? Pretty damn amazing. Right? Hey,
The radio in my car is perpetually on Magic... make of that what
you will. I'm a big fan of people like Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson
Williams and those big 'epic' movie soundtrack pieces of music.
They tend to get blasted when I need some motivation in my life!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
'...' <--- those bad boys
Swimwear. Non-torn swimwear. This has been an issue before...
Red wine. I'm not even sorry.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

My friend's and I usually go out on Saturday so... Friday is
usually a chilled out night either watching a film with my flatmate
or having a quiet drink at someone's flat.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once got my head stuck in a metal fence and had to wait 20
minutes for it to be cut free. I wouldn't exactly call this private
though, I generally break it out pretty quickly upon meeting
Also my swimming shorts tore mid-swim once. Right down the middle.
That was quite embarrassing...
