My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Inquisitive to a fault, enthusiastic cook and big fan of that feeling when you look at the sun and it makes you sneeze.

I try to keep myself in a fairly healthy state of being most of the time and swim a couple of times a week. Would love to get involved in some kayaking/white water rafting as I did it in New Zealand and it was incredible! But if that isn't your kind of thing maybe just some tennis or badminton instead?

Big fan of History and culture, which means having London so near by is handy. I have a few favourite places to visit but I'm always searching for more, so if you have any suggestions please feel free to share!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently work for Oxford University in their Continuing Education Department.

I've only just moved to Oxford so it'd be great to meet some new people and explore what the city has to offer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Some things that I've either been told I'm good at or assume I probably am because it hasn't killed me (yet).

Dancing - I've been told that I can dance well but not, and I quote, sexily. Which is why my career as a pole dancer never took off, clearly...

Swimming - going everyday will help with that... Now that I only go a few times a week I guess I'm just 'good' rather than 'really good' though.

Smiling - I've been told I have an amazing smile. People (rather more often than you'd expect) come up to me when I'm out and just ask me to smile, which obviously makes me smile even more. Which makes them giggle like little children. So I smile even more. Then my face hurts and it never ends well for anyone.

Flying - I used to have flying lessons and I was rather good. Except for landing, that little detail was a minor issue... Unfortunately I had to stop (they're a bit expensive!) when I went to Uni but I'd love to take it up again someday.

Writing lists of what I'm really good at - apparently.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
More than likely my smile.

Or my amazing non-sexy dancing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
A quick, somewhat random selection might include...

Books - Anything that is full of suspense or which teaches you something unique and unexpected like:
- A Short History of Nearly Everything (if you haven't read this I cannot recommend it enough, it's one of the books you can finish and just start again at page one and it's still bloody amazing)
- The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Films - Anything really; action, thriller, rom-com (some aren't bad!). Stuff like:
- The Fifth Element
- Interstellar
- Jurassic Park
- Goldeneye (Though Skyfall is definitely a threat to this one)
- Aladdin

Music: This is going to be an... odd mix...
- A lot of Classical/'Epic' music
- Let's be honest... The entire Rock of Ages soundtrack (I'm currently listening to it on repeat as I type this...)
- Anything Rock or Metal
- Taylor Swift. Yep.
- Mumford & Sons (they were amazing live!)

(I feel the need to mention that the radio in my car is perpetually on Magic - so make of that what you will)

I don't often play games anymore but in the interest of fairness...
- Final Fantasy X is hands down the best Final Fantasy game. Ever.
- Ocarina of Time is hands down the best Zelda game. Ever.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A razor
A pen and paper
Swimwear. Non-torn swimwear. This has been an issue before...
Red wine. Not. Even. Sorry.
My iPhone. I am a little bit sorry about that.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Who's going to die in Game of Thrones?

When will I manage to finally do that Trans Siberian journey across Europe? (Fellow traveller would be more than welcome to come along!)

Why do I not own more bottles of red?!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either in a bar with some friends catching up over some wine or chilling with my flatmate whilst watching something horrendous on Netflix/laughing at Angela Merkel. Also with wine.

I do have an 'ideal' Friday, but you'll have to ask to find out what it is! What's yours?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I once got my head stuck in a metal fence and had to wait 20 minutes for it to be cut free. I wouldn't exactly call this private though, I generally break it out pretty quickly upon meeting someone.

This swimwear story... You'll have to ask to find out about that one though!
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want a dance off.
You want to show me some cool places in Oxford (possibly before sharing a drink and some food?)
You need a squash/badminton/swimming/gym partner.

Or if you just fancy it!
