I enjoy good conversation about many things (films, music, television, books, new media, politics, religion, science).
I grew up on a farm in Ohio and graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I am relieved to now live in civilization.
I am passionate about learning new things. I may start and stop but I will always be reading and diving into various projects.
I do a podcast with my friends called Beyond 6th (.com). It is a passion project for all of us, given we have the time to get together and record an episode.
Sunday, 12/23/2012: Today I woke up at 9 a.m. and had planned to go see White Christmas (1954), one of my favorite old films, at the Alamo Drafthouse downtown and today was the last screening of it for the season. Weighing my options in an effort to be financially responsible, I thought about watching a movie at home and gaming a bit (Diablo 3, Dark Souls, etc). Then I discover that the Bengals vs. Steelers game (which would decide the Bengals playoff-fate) was to be televised locally. It was a very tough decision. This exemplifies my diverse interests.
Disclaimer that seems to be necessary:
I am openly bisexual. I have been out since I was 19 as bisexual so I'm not a dude whose girlfriend is out of town, a closet frat guy or "in transition". If you don't like that, I don't particularly care and would prefer you not message me about it.
