My self-summary
Recently learned how to fold a fitted sheet and HOT DAMN, I'm feelin' like a new man!

Honest, patient, thoughtful, occasionally exceptionally gullible (especially on April Fool's Day), unpretentious, and so uncool that I come all the way back around to being cool again.

I'm always nice to waiters and waitresses and I let people get off the subway train before I get on. I never miss a New England Patriots game (not sure why I'm saying that, since that's not really a skill or an impressive habit). I make a killer homemade Orange Julius. My lasagna could knock you out (from the taste and not the Ambien I mixed into the sauce). I own a pizza stone, a crock pot, and a waffle maker- one of the cool ones you flip over- and I ain't afraid to use them.

I bet you're really champing at the bit to meet me after reading all that, huh? I know, I know. Settle down, take a number, have a seat in the waiting room and I'll meet with you as soon as I can.
What I’m doing with my life
I've managed to put a very eclectic skill set to good use over the years. My job these days involves video cameras, video editing, Photoshop, traveling, comedy, sports, and getting you to laugh. I really love getting the creative juices flowing and working on fun, creative projects where every day is different from the next. After several years of temp jobs and doing this and that, it feels great to finally be paid to entertain people and to do things I'm really passionate about.
I’m really good at
Getting along with animals, video editing, making salads with lots and lots of ingredients, DJing your party, bakin' cookies, turning and rolling my ankle at the most inopportune times, remembering the name of that guy in that movie and name of that other movie he was in with that actress, sitting in such a way that makes my foot fall asleep.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. It's usually very curly and a little out of control, but it's really short right now. And I also have a tiny natural blonde streak atop of my head- when I was a baby it looked like a giant white feather.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Well, a few of my favorites...

TV: Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Louie, Parks & Rec, Community, The Wire, Lost, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Freaks & Geeks, Happy Endings, Downton Abbey

Movies: Way too many to list here, but I absolutely love What About Bob. Some other random favorites- Big, The Secret of NIMH, The Goonies, Pleasantville, The Iron Giant, Brazil, Joe Versus The Volcano, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Aliens, Bullets Over Broadway, Beginners, Splash, all the Indiana Jones movies except for the last one, of course, Aliens, and Brazil.

Read Cloud Atlas a few months ago and it sorta rocked my world. My favorite book of all time? It might be A Confederacy of Dunces. Just finished Lonesome Dove and I absolutely loved it. Now I'm finally getting around to reading Watership Down.

I love pizza. And burritos. And guacamole. And fried eggs.

Music? I can proudly say I loved Hall & Oates before it was cool and trendy to like them again. I have very eclectic tastes, but I have soft spots for Chromeo, Mayer Hawthorne, RJD2, Bjork, Electric Light Orchestra, Breakbot, The Meters, all funk and soul music from the 70s, and anything New Jack Swing. Also got a soft spot for 50s doo-wop.
The six things I could never do without
Swimming
My glasses (until I get LASIK surgery someday)
Pizza
Hall & Oates
The ability to laugh at myself and not take everything so gosh darn seriously
My dog, Dusty
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Recently: fonts and drop shadows, breakfast foods and fried eggs, DSLRs, shoes versus sneakers, am I doing something that's making some sort of a positive aspect on the world?, consumerism vs. production and how you still need to consume a certain amount of stuff in order to be inspired by it
On a typical Friday night I am
Right now Friday nights kind of make me nostalgic for when my dad would come home from work with a pizza from the local Greek-owned House of Pizza and then I'd watch Wild And Crazy Kids on Nickelodeon, follow that up with all the TGIF shows on ABC, and round out the evening with some random late-night west coast basketball game on TNT. Yeah, those were some fun Friday nights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can't snap or whistle TO SAVE MY LIFE. Hope that's not a deal breaker for you.

You should message me if
You'd like to come over, hang out and watch Game of Thrones and Mad Men on Sunday nights this spring. We'll order some food and I'll whip up some popcorn in the Whirly Pop. Good times.

You're quirky, a bit of a tomboy at times, not afraid to march to the beat of your own drum, have a killer sense of humor and a lot of funny stories to tell, and you're not above playing a little Catchphrase or going bowling on a random Tuesday night.

You celebrate and are willing to dance to the entire Michael Jackson catalog and dig some of that early 90s New Jack Swing.
