My self-summary

I have a curious nature. It keeps me entertained and allows me to be entertaining.

I love connecting with people! Friends, Family, the strangers that sits next to me on a plane.

It's fun. I love laughing and making people laugh :-)

What I’m doing with my life
I'm the guy that paints the little white "M"s on M&M Minis.

You remember those? Yeah, they were awesome. You could just pretend to House with them. Like, if you're ever feeling down, or need a fix, just buy a tube and down some M&M minis like Vicodin., that's not weird.

I also organize meetups with a couple of different groups. We go hiking, drinking, out to eat, check out exhibits, play board games, see movies, etc.

Oh, you wanted the DC answer? I work in Technology at an NGO (#shitdcsays), but I love my job, the org, the people, and the general environment I'm in.
I’m really good at
-working with electronics. I can take apart a remote control and almost put it back together. (They always put extra parts in those things anyway.)

-air guitar. I'm not so good with the drums, but hand me an air accordion and I'll rock that fucker too

-singing Crazy in Love or Toxic at a karaoke bar.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

- Little Brother by Cory Doctorow,
- Harry Potter Series, because who doesn't love HP?
- The Alchemist & Ishmael
- Getting Things Done, Switch, & Predictably Irrational
- American Gods, I loved this book.
-Dishonorable mention - Dan Brown books.... shh... I, I know, I know. I read them in high school and still read the new ones as they come out.

Pixar Movies. Departures, Amelie, August Rush, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, (500) Days of Summer, Inception, oh and Miyazaki Films, of course, how could I leave those out?

Edit: The Intouchables, V for Vendetta, The Princess Bride, Good Will Hunting, The Social Network, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory (1971), The Iron Giant, How to Train Your Dragon, Miracle in Cell No. 7 (7번방의 선물), A Werewolf Boy (늑대소년), About Time, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Populaire, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, and About Time

I really like Korean music. Mainly indie Korean groups. Non-indie include: Clazziquai, Big Bang, Taeyang, G-Dragon, Yiruma, 2NE1, Nell, Wonder Girls, Alex Chu, Girls Generation, Psy, BoA.

The rest of my music is a mixed bag of John Mayer, Paramore, Jason Mraz, Goo Goo Dolls, One Republic, Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Ne-yo, Coldplay, Linkin Park, John Legend, Maroon 5, Michael Buble, Camila, David Bisbal, Carlos Santana, Mana, Juanes, and Alex Ubago.

Italian and Japanese?

Korean food is also amazing, but I still can not stand Kimchi. Don't give that look, I just don't like it.

Lastly Mexican food, and I mean real Mexican food, none of the Taco Bell shit (though in their defense, it's not all bad). In the summers, my dad and I would always make steak fajitas with quality meat and allow the family to customize their own burrito/taco/etc, We'd also make some other things like small quesadillas on the side and a Coke from Mexico to wash it all down. Now that's a REAL Mexican meal.

Web Comics: Questionable Content, XKCD, Sinfest, Least I Could Do, and a couple of other Witty Comics that I like to read.

I forgot TV Shows!:
Aside from a few K-Dramas/anime, House of Cards, HIMYM, Suits, Parts and Recs, The Office, QI, The IT crowd, 8 out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, Whose Line Is It Anyway (US), Would I Lie to You?, Breaking Bad, House, Scrubs

I would love to get into Dr. Who, Sherlock, and Game of Thrones, if I had the time.
The six things I could never do without
Laptop - cloud services help assuage this, but then makes the next item necessary.

Phone - I've proven this. Went on a hike and forgot the map...we ended up walking ~22 miles before we managed to find the car.

An everlasting sense of curiosity: Observation, Learning, Teaching

My Car - I can make it work without a car, sort of, but I would need it to see my family. Plus, I like getting lost driving and ending up at some interesting place.

Reddit - I know, I know, but I actually am active in some communities and take advantage of gaining/applying knowlege.

Music - I like to sing. I like to listen to music while working, cleaning, running, and generally doing nothing.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- finding hidden gems in the area. From Hiking trails, to reading spots, to places to nap in the middle of a beautiful spring day.

- etymology, linguistics, communication, human behavior

- how to make the perfect grilled cheese sandwich.
On a typical Friday night I am
- enjoying a beer and a immersing myself in a movie at E Street Cinema;

- eating a Nutella crepe on the steps of the National Portrait Gallery;

- playing Civ V;

- singing karaoke with friends or rocking the socks off of people at a karaoke bar;

- hosting a meet up with local Redditors in Fairfax, Reston, Manassas or Arlington.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
This: makes me want to use physical hashtags. My brothers and I do it every now and then. #Isitworthitletmeworkit.
