My self-summary
I've lived in Victoria for about 14 years now and I really like it here. I enjoy cycling, running, hiking, rock climbing (mostly indoor), movies, travelling, music and nice restaurants. I've worked for the Federal Government for the past 3 years. I'm a pretty easy going guy and like a good joke (or bad). I'll be honest I am a little bit of a geek, and I hope you don't mind meeting someone who is going to be seeing the new Batman/Superman movie opening night.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a government employee, I know that doesn't exactly scream thrilling but, just remember that technically speaking James Bond and Captain America are government employees. I'm more or less similar to them, just replace a few skills they have like, "expert in unarmed combat" with "mastery of Microsoft Office". Also, I don't normally battle super villains in space.

Last major thing I did was going to Europe for 3 weeks in June, it was pretty awesome. I gambled in the Monte Carlo (see just like James Bond!) , saw a lifetime worth of precious artwork and found that simulated baby eel is a hot new commodity in Spain (and looks about as tasty as you'd expect).
I’m really good at
- Making jokes. By which I mean I am able to make them often. I don't speak for the quality of each individual joke.
- Indoor rock climbing. Once I get outdoors and the holds stop being a brightly colored shade of pink, my skill at climbing takes a nosedive.
- Pretty much anything involving technology. When someone I know cracks their iPhone, or breaks their laptop I'm the guy they call.
- Having an oddly deep insight into the works of Nicolas Cage. This skill has yet to help me in any meaningful way.

The six things I could never do without
1. Google: I know my first thing should be something like, my best friend Justin, but when someones tells me kale is secretly toxic, I need to know if they are right. In case you're wondering, it's not.

2. Smartphone: I'm not going all the way home and turning on my computer just to figure out if Kale is slowly killing me. I need to know ASAP! Also, Google Maps.

3. Pic-a-Flic: I know in the modern era of video streaming video stores are dying out. Still, if I get a itch to watch Vampire's Kiss there is only one place I can go.

4. Other people's pets: I want a pet, but my building won't allow them. Until I move I need to make do with other people's.

5. Headphones: It's not that I don't like interacting co-workers, but sometimes you need a shot of Daft Punk to get you through the day.

6. Coffee: Without it I'm grumpy!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Parallel universes. If there is an infinite number of alternate universes with an infinite number of alternate me's, I'm jealous that at least one of them might own a jet pack.
On a typical Friday night I am
Having a beer with a buddy, going to the movies or just chilling.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Up until I was about 17 I thought that the jackalope might a real animal. I know now that a jackrabbit - antelope hybrid could never exist for a whole host of reasons.
