I'm a bit of a bibliophile, but I really enjoy a good fantasy or
classic novel. A nice thick book that I can sit down and read for a
long time just makes me happy. In particular, I really enjoy A Song
of Ice and Fire, just about anything by Tad Williams, Dostoevsky
(and in particular The Brothers Karamazov), Jim Butcher's novels,
along the assorted math text (to put me to sleep).
For movies, it really depends on my mood, but I generally favor the
Disney/Dreamworks movie like How to Train Your Dragon or else a
comedy like Hot Fuzz. I'll occasionally watch an action film, but
I'm not a fan of Horror.
I don't generally watch a lot of TV, but I am a fan of Doctor Who.
I've just gotten started watching the old series, but I'm slowly
making my way through it. I'll enjoy the occasional episode of The
Simpson's or South Park, but I don't know many of the more recent
shows.
As for music, I know practically nothing. I don't generally feel
the need to listen to it, but if I want some background music I'll
put on some classic rock (The Who), or else put on some classical.
I've been attempting to work on my musical knowledge, but it hasn't
been high on my priorities.
I generally enjoy any kind of food, but I really enjoy a nice
hearty soup, especially in the winter. Give it a decent amount of
spice, and I just fall for it.
