My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a tinkerer, psychonaut, creator, observer and a jack of all trades. I don't take too many things seriously and I try to squeeze in subtle jokes in regular conversation. I like to think I have a nice balance of living in the moment and having a rough idea of where I want my life to go. My case of wanderlust is pretty bad...I'll usually buy a plane ticket somewhere if I find out I have a few days off. My last weekend trip was to Tampa. The previous sentence is subject to change without notice. I'm always on the search for temporary autonomous zones.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, learning, exploring, and wandering about on my bicycle.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing mechanical things, telling terrible jokes, and concocting the life story of a passerby.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music means a hell of a lot to me. I play a few things, but not too well...yet. I'm mostly listening to female lead synthy stuff at the moment like Sylvan Esso and Polica, but my preferences are spread out over all kinds of genres. I grew up on the Rolling Stones, Journey, Anita Baker, and Motown. I don't listen to them nearly as much as I used to, but Brand New is still my favorite. I find that I'm always chasing that heightened feeling that you get when you are vibing with a song and I recently found out that the word for it is frisson. This might give you a vague idea:

I love books about the future as well as religious and philosophical books. Be Here Now and Cat's Cradle top my list. I'm currently reading Nausea by Sartre.

Regarding movies, I am a fan of any campy horror flick, preferably involving the undead. Also documentaries. Oh man do I love a good docu.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I don't really like this question, so I am going to tell you my six favorite aquatic animals:

Blue whale
Goblin shark
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My to-do list and life's mysteries and connections. Is ignorance widespread or did I just catch a person on a bad day and project their actions onto the general public? Where am I going to go for my next trip?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Your guess is as good as mine. Possibilities include howling at the moon.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I listen to Barry White when I clean my vegetables.
