I believe in pursuing my dreams NOW rather than waiting for "someday". I'm well traveled and enjoy learning about other cultures. In college, I traveled around the world and gained a much more global view of the world. That trip sparked my wanderlust and traveling has been a passion of mine ever since. My favorite trips have been trekking in Tibet, safari in Kenya, Carnaval in Rio and scuba diving in Indonesia.

Despite my love for traveling, I’m a grounded professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys building things whether the focus is a company, a partnership or a photo gallery. I love my work which allows me to live in the Bay area but work internationally…it’s the best of both worlds for me.

Work focuses on the corporate world and I have a "designy" side so I need creative outlets. I'm working on bringing my design side and business experience together for the next phase of my career. I'm an avid amateur photographer and I plan to publish a book in the future (I've been published in National Geographic Traveler mag).

I love to cook for friends...it's great to sit around the table engaged in stimulating conversation or infectious laughter. I'm into hiking, running, cycling, kayaking, skiing, skating, yoga, camping and most outdoor activities. I enjoy exploring new cities but I love getting out of the city for the weekend. My soul is best soothed by spending time in the mountains and the ocean.

In no particular order:
Listening and being present, coaching (friends and colleagues tend to come to me for advice), taking photographs, baking yummy desserts, seeing the positive side, finding the lesson in a tough situation, maximizing my vacation time and being spontaneous.

Books: I'm always in the middle of several books...lately more business books. Recent favorites are Born to Run, Start Something that Matters, Learning to Breathe. Other faves are The Power of One, Lady and the Monk, Any Human Heart and anything by Mary Oliver.

Movies: Favorite movies include Cinema Paradiso, Shawshank Redemption, Usual Suspects and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Food: I'm a foodie and will try anything but tend to eat healthfully. My grandmother ran a family style Italian restaurant (she was the chef) so I appreciate great fresh Italian food (and I enjoy making it as well). From living in Tokyo and London I developed a love for Japanese, Thai and Indian food.

If you're ready for a great adventure! I hope to build a solid relationship with a guy who can be the happy recipient of my affection, support, encouragement and sense of humor. A “list” isn’t important, but I tend to be drawn to intelligent, witty, sensitive, athletic men. I’m always impressed when a man knows himself well, knows what he wants out of life and is willing to go after it. Even better if he’s adventurous, curious, resilient, spontaneous and silly.
