My self-summary
The rest of my profile's pretty thorough, I'll try to keep this section quick. First thing is that I already love you, and I'm never gonna hurt you intentionally. I'm a really easy-going kid who tries to be open minded, likes fun, and prefers to try to avoid or diffuse drama. Aesthetics are important to me, I'm a visual artist, but personal expression is far more important and appealing to me than what's conventionally regarded as aesthetically pleasing. Coincidentally, self-expression's something I have a fear of, but I'm working on it.

I love to draw, I love to learn, I love games, I love stories, but more than anything, I love people.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently going to school in Los Angeles, working on a degree in animation with a minor in studio art. Unfortunately animation's a pretty demanding major, so even though I've been in the city for three years now I haven't really done much exploration, or even much chilling with friends. I'm tryin' to change that with Senior year. Despite having my senior film ahead of me, which if I'm not careful can rob me of all of my time for the year, I'm hoping that this is the year I start living life.

Animation industry, like most industries, is having a bit of a hard time right now, so I can't really bank on having work right after school. But that is what I really, really want, and I feel like I can do it. I'm itching to have a self-sustaining life style and disposable income -- not that I'll feel comfortable making any crazy purchases 'til my student debt's eradicated. Thank goodness for scholarships, that shouldn't take too long.

My dream, as far as my career goes anyhow, would be to be a Youtube content creator. Kinda a teenage dream, I know, but I like being able to communicate directly with the people who I show my work to, and if I was independent it'd be a lot easier to make pieces of work that relate to subjects or issues that I want them to.
I’m really good at
Relative to people my age, I'm pretty okay at drawing and writing! It's what I love to do the most, tell stories. Hoping that I get to work on animations or comics someday in the future, I absolutely love both of those things.

What I'm way more proud of is that I know I'm a good person to talk to. I'unno how great I'd be talking with strangers, but I tend to be the guy my friends come to when they're feeling down or introspective. I'll listen to everything someone's got to say an' just give my two cents -- an' I'm always gonna be on your side, but also everyone's side. I'm all for resolutions that benefit everyone involved.

Can that segue into I'm really good at looving peeople? Just, I mean, I'll never not want the best for someone. People are amazing. I wonder how many times the word "love" will end up in this profile.
The first things people usually notice about me
Someone told me I had a friendly aura once. I like that, so I choose to believe it's true! :P
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books -- 'Fraid I don't do too much reading for pleasure, I'm just more of a visual person. Last thing that I read an' really liked was Tattoos on the Heart by Fr. Greg Boyle, I cried all over that book. I'll always like Farenheit 451 and The Giver, Harry Potter was really enjoyable. If comic books counts, the Fables series is amazing.

Movies -- Apart from anything animated, I've never really been able to pin down what genres I like the most, but some of my favorites are Big Fish, Memento, A Knight's Tale, The Lion King, Treasure Planet, Robin Hood (Disney's), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Die Hard, Crazy Stupid Love, Troy, and Fight Club. I could keep going, but that's probably enough.

Shows -- Mostly cartoons, Bravest Warriors, Regular Show, Adventure Time, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Gravity Falls, Ghost in the Shell, Firefly, Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares (The British series).

Music - Literally everything, but things I find myself coming back to are Killers, Lady GaGa, Daft Punk, Gogol Bordello, Anamanaguchi, Queen, Macklemore, Michael Jackson, Ke$ha, and Disney songs, gotta love 'em.

There's music that I listen to and music that I move to, I appreciate both!

Food -- I love sweets. All kinds. Gimme. Gomgomgom. Not too big on bitter though. Coffee and dark chocolate (usually) is out for me, caramel and nougat are delicious. I tend to like things better the fewer ingredients they have -- fruit is delicious to me, pasta dishes, steamed veggies, pizza, that sorta stuff. But then again, I love Indian and Thai food, so, I can be a little more exotic too. I'll try anything.
The six things I could never do without
Sketchbook and a pen -- Love to draw and write!

Internet -- Portal to people and ideas all over the world! So glad I was born in this day an' age.

Apostrophes -- I don't know why, but I love 'em. I think it's my long buried Texan accent tryin' to escape.

The sun -- Not only is it an admirable symbol, a radiant warmth that without bias sustains life on earth, it's also really nice to lie in.

Fantasy -- Real is amazing, unreal and surreal are just as great.

Love -- If I ever stop loving people, I'm not who I think I am.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If I could name the verb I did the most, it would probably be thinking. While I feel like it's given me some sturdy insights to guide myself, more thinking also tends to mean less doing, and I'm honestly trying to think less and do more nowadays.

But That wasn't the question. Philosophy is fantastic. I know that is a very broad topic, but I'm willing to explore the nuances and perspectives that surround practically anything. Particularly ethics is a huge interest of mine, it's important to me that I live as good of a life as I'm able, and, hopefully, help others to do so too.

Gender and sexuality! This is really relevant to my being and interests. How gender and sexuality fits into society currently, as well as how I really hope that someday it will fit into society. I am a very open minded fella, and I hate to see the repression of sexual and gender based interests or lifestyles that happens on a pretty large scale in, at least, the USA. I always love it when gender roles and boundaries are grayed out.

Storytelling! I love writing stories, working out plots and discovering characters is like being a detective and putting puzzle pieces together. When everything fits into a coherent cause and effect, is able to be followed, and is entertaining, it's one of the best feelings in the world.

Games! The idea of a game is fantastic to me. I love it like the game was some honored deity or something. Whether it's a card game or a board game or a video game, or any other kinda game, I'll never cheat and I'll always be a good sport. Winning and losing are parts of the game, part of what makes it fun! I love thinking about game mechanics and strategy, maybe some day I'll dabble in using games to tell my stories.

Not the past. I am not the kinda guy to dwell on mistakes or regrets; we've all got a lot of time in front of us, a lot of possibilities for amazing things. If something bad happens in my life, I'll learn what I can from it and tackle the next day with optimism.
On a typical Friday night I am
I am reaally susceptible to being dragged into random adventures by friends on Friday nights, but I don't tend to make the plans myself since I should probably really be working. I like to have a relaxed kickback or party with friends, I love to go out dancing, I love to have a board and or video game night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Okay, *deep breath*, uhm, I'm wearing ladies' underwear. Now I'm rolling around on the ground because I'm really embarrassed to put that on the internet. Thing is though, it's kinda a good indicator of how comfortable you might be with me in person. I alluded to it once before, but I like screwing with gender roles and boundaries on a personal level. I'm no drag queen, but I don't try too hard to be masculine and I don't try too hard to not be feminine. I kinda think androgyny is really cool. I shop in both the men's and women's section of Goodwill, just looking to find things I like regardless of whoever they were made with in mind. I said it before, though, I have a hard time expressing myself, but as I get better I'm noticing I'm sliding more towards the feminine side of things. If you're not okay with that, I understand, but hope we can still be friends. If you are okay with that, you get extra love.

  • Guys who like guys
  • Ages 20–25
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, casual sex
You should message me if
you wanna talk to me. It'd be cool if you went through my profile before hand, I know it's titanic, but there's a lot about me in there. I'm fine just going through the whole, "where are you from, oh I do this," routine, sometimes that leads to some fun conversation, but it's way more likely that chatting will be fun if you message me with something you think I might be interested in! Also, I've got a lot on my plate right now, so if I don't message back, please don't be offended!
