Originally from the prairies, I grew up across the TransCanada highway from an outdoor public pool. After spending time in Vancouver and Northern Australia, I have now moved into a 2nd floor apartment in downtown Toronto where I can see the CN tower from my kitchen window. I am currently in the midst of unfolding my packed up life into the various spaces that this apartment has to offer.

I work hard at what I do, but between jobs, I have been able to enjoy time away – often touring with my bike and tent for long periods of time. The first time I did this, I thought I’d contemplate the meaning of life and possibly discover a great truth as I cycled from one destination to another - but I must confess my mind was only occupied with the sights around me and where I was to have my next meal and rest!

I’ve been told that I have a sense of occasion. I like to acknowledge events, though small, and celebrate with friends often.
