I read a lot of non fiction about history, psychology,
anthropology, biology, neurology, science, world religions and
I also very much enjoy novels, both classic and modern.
I read a ton, so I'm just going to list a few.
Authors I love: Haruki Murakami, Chuck Palahniuk, Fyodor
Dostoyevsky, Nick Hornby, Vonnegut
Books: House of Leaves, Norwegian Wood, Notes From Underground,
Snow Crash, Cat's Cradle, Survivor, Invisible Monsters & Fight
Club are some of my favorites.
There are many more though... I'm trying to read at least one novel
from every great/classic author. I'm probably way behind on that,
but I have a decent amount checked off the list.
Music.... so much. This is just some of it:
A Perfect Circle,
Death Cab for Cutie,
Eastern Conference Champions,
The Joy Formidable,
Nine Inch Nails,
The Smashing Pumpkins (Pre "reunion"),
Sunny Day Real Estate!,
What Made Milwaukee Famous,
Movies: Too many to mention, but...
Fight Club, The Fountain, Black Swan, Synecdoche New York
Darren Aronofsky, Charlie Kaufman, Todd Solondz, David Fincher, PT
Anderson, Stanly Kubrick
Tv: The Daily Show, Colbert Report, Louie, The Office, 30 rock,
It's Always Sunny, Family Guy, Futurama, Arrested Development...
Food: Mostly natural, unprocessed stuff if possible. I like all
kinds of food though, but have very high standards for any meat I
eat (which means I don't eat it all that often.)
