I am an active, energetic, youthful 52 year old native Californian and I absolutely love the ocean and the beach anytime of the year. Body surfing in the summer, beach volleyball, biking, bonfires, and walking/hiking on the beach anytime. I enjoy time with family and friends and am very social, and I am looking for a long term romantic partner.

Scuba diving and spearfishing are passions of mine. I love to hunt in the ocean and enjoy cooking seafood that I've personally caught for my friends - things like scallops, abalone, lobster and lots of different types of fish...yummy.

Speaking of food, I am a food adventurer and I love flavorful, spicy food. I know I'm one of the whitest guys on the planet, but my taste buds (and stomach) apparently got mixed up with a masochistic mexican/thai/korean/japanese foodie. Go figure. Anyway, I love learning about different cultures through their food. Andrew Zimmerman rocks!

What type of woman am I looking for? Well, kindness, compassion, intelligence and passion count for a lot. Easy-going, but not a push-over. As far as physical "type" I do have one. There are exceptions of course because people are all unique, but I am generally most attracted to a short, petite to average build woman, with dark hair, dark eyes, olive skin, and a big smile used often and easily. I enjoy cultural differences and speak Spanish (OK, guero spanglish), but really have no racial preference...other than human race of course!

I take care of myself and strive to hit the gym several times a week, but honestly would rather be outside.

My life is about spending time with my daughters, my friends, work, fun outdoor activities and looking for a wonderful partner!

My little girls are with me about 30% of the time, so yes, I have time for a partner but at the same time am grounded by my parenting experiences.

Cooking, barbecueing, gardening, laughing, giving backrubs and footrubs, tickling, enjoying life, being there for my friends, and some stuff I'd probably get kicked off here for listing...

While hampered by gender, I am better than average (and getting better with age and experience) at listening to others.

I absolutely love music, especially live music. Enjoy most genres except not so much rap or hard hip-hop. I like to use music to set, change or enhance moods. For live music I prefer smaller venues like the Coachhouse in Capistrano, Galaxy, HOB Anaheim. My favorite local band is the Tijuana Dogs, they are just plain fun.

I enjoy cooking as well as eating out. I'm a very good cook and I am a complete food adventurer. Hooray for garlic and capsaicin and Asian and Latin food! Love sushi and most seafood, but not so much the Uni or the oysters.

On a typical Friday night I am with friends or family, or both, but there isn't really a typical Friday activity, I like variety.

I'm really bald and wear a toupee. No, not really, but I guess I should mention the false teeth and I'm really just 5'-6"...geez, who thinks up these questions? Actually, truth - I am really 6'-1" but I like very short petite ladies and didn't want to scare off my type...
