My self-summary
OK so the plan is basically to get a one-way ticket to the USA and embark on an acid-fuelled road trip and just see where we all end up. This can only end well.

I'm currently trying to figure out what to do with my life. Unless lying on the couch reading all day suddenly becomes profitable I'm going to have to get a real job. I was thinking something along the lines of millionaire sportsman playboy, but I heard Ryan Giggs already has that one nailed down.

I love:
- photography, especially polaroids and old Russian cameras
- painting
- skateboarding
- travelling. I have a looong list of places to visit
- drumming
- "you had to be there" moments
- uni life and all the hilarious anecdotes I've come away with
- anything random
- redheads
- throwing rolls of toilet paper at stuff
- lists, apparently

If you're some sort of awesome combination of these, like a drumming redhead in Hawaii riding a skateboard, then that's even better.

Also, you know how American girls seem to love guys with English accents? Well I'm the opposite - I love girls with American accents. Just saying...
What I’m doing with my life
At the moment I've just finished uni. Best years of my life; not all perfect, but I'm going to miss it.

I'm hoping to go on a road trip around the USA soon. There are loads of places I'd love to visit, hopefully going on a trip through Europe in the summer.

After that I'm hoping to get a job in writing or journalism, but God knows how that's going to turn out. I've been told I done write good well, so hopefully things will go according to plan.
I’m really good at
Well I guess I'm quite good at photography (I had a small exhibition a few years ago). I also write for an online magazine so I guess that's one thing. Oh, and failing to come up with things that I'm good at. Definitely that last one.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I seem to start most of my sentences with "yeah so", as if the other person has said something first. But also that I can make them laugh I suppose.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am MASSIVELY into William Burroughs. If you've never read Naked Lunch then I recommend you stop what you're doing and go out and buy it. My god. I can see why it was banned. Simultaneously the most disturbing, obscene book I've ever read, but also by far the most stunning, intense and shatteringly powerful. I can honestly say I've never read anything like it, and will never again. Indescribable. Incredible. Beautiful.

Other than that we've got George Orwell, Seamus Heaney, William Golding, J.D. Salinger, Chris Ware, Craig Thompson, Daniel Kalder, Richard Grant, and any sort of "eccentric travel writing". I have a thirst for knowledge and usually choose non-fiction over fiction. And by non-fiction I mean Pop-Up Peekaboo Farm by Dorling-Kindersley.

Currently on my reading list: A Clockwork Orange, The Iliad, The Canterbury Tales, A Room of One's Own, The Diary of a Nobody, Silas Marner, Animal Farm, To the Lighthouse and To Kill a Mockingbird. I'll get through them eventually.

For films: No Country For Old Men, Inception, Donnie Darko, Blade Runner, Citizen Kane, Airplane, Brokeback Mountain, The Wrestler, Man on the Moon, Gran Torino, The Hurt Locker, Goodbye Lenin, Fight Club, Pi, Into the Wild, Memento.

For music I'm really into hip hop and punk. I hate pretty much all music on the radio and gave up on it about 10 years ago, so don't worry, you're not the only one who hates Pitbull.

I enjoy cooking. I don't really have a favourite style of food as I like to try all sorts of different things and if I see an unusual or interesting recipe I'll most likely give it a go.
The six things I could never do without
Camera, phone, alarm clock, laptop, friends & family, electricity, ability to count to six (clearly absent here).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Things like "why is Leslie Nielsen's voice so great?", "what is Satan's last name?", and "how do you handcuff a one-armed man?"

Also how anyone can make a living being a journalist.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably at work or relaxing at home. Getting to the pub is kinda difficult if you don't live near one and the only way to get home is to drunkenly ride your bike home. Last time I tried that I fell off and smashed my phone....NEVER FORGET PHONEY.

I've developed an aversion to going out on Friday nights, as at uni Friday night is not a student night!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My skateboard is named Darrell (for good reasons). Not hugely exciting or private, is it? Well, it's not like I'm going to say "I'm secretly a woman".
