I'm really just a normal guy who loves hanging out with friends doing just about anything. I love reading, board games, food, and the NFL. I am honestly much happier on the side of a mountain than on a beach. I love hiking and if you know any good places around here I would love to go. I went to college to become a teacher and ended up an analyst. I do not know what that says about me. I ramble.

Starting my career. Keeping up with old friends while trying to make new ones. Figuring the rest out as I go.

Baking cheesecakes. No seriously, I started baking cheesecakes recently because I love them. Thankfully my friends and co-workers love them so I don't have to finish them myself.

I have no clue. I'm about as average looking as they come. Slightly below average height, brown hair, brown eyes. Not a good combination for standing out. Given a little time though I think my insatiable curiosity is one trait that stands out.

Out of books, movies, shows, music, and food, books and food blow the other categories out of the water. When I get into a book I don't put it down. Favorite genres in literature are science fiction, fantasy, and crime novels. If it is by Vince Flynn, Jim Butcher, or Isaac Asimov I have already read it a couple of times or intend to.

Food is a newer passion. I was a picky eater growing up but now I will try (and probably like) just about anything. I do have one blasphemy in my food taste...I am not a big fan of Italian. It seems like the most universally loved type of food but I can live without pasta. Rice on the other hand has formed a special place in my life. Probably why my favorite types of food are Mexican, Indian, and Thai.

For movies, all that matters is that I enjoy it. I'm usually not looking for some sweeping story that is just a metaphor for whatever the director/author thinks is plaguing society. I want to laugh or smile and just plain be happier because I watched the movie. Movies that I still watch every now and again: Serenity, Shaun of the Dead, Notting Hill, Bourne Trilogy, and Boondock Saints.

I don't keep up with many TV shows but I do enjoy catching Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother re-runs. Grimm and Castle are the only shows that I think I am up to date on.

As for music, my taste tends to favor hard rock but I listen to a decent variety. That said, music is not really all that important to me. Its been years since the last time I bought a CD or downloaded a song. Honestly, if you wanted to know more about my musical taste I would have to check my pandora stations to figure out what I listen to.

The most random things. If it piques my curiosity, then it will get a lot of thought. And probably be brought up in conversation.

These days I am either hanging out with a couple of my friends, probably playing or board games or going out for a drink, or catching up on all the things I put off during the week.

I am not a terribly private person so I have no clue what to put here.
