I'm a fish out of water from Southern VA. GO HOKIES!

Gandhi would say I am cool as a cucumber. My job is a means to an end; I'm a work to live kind of guy. My philosophy is to remember what's important in this temporary endeavor and try to enjoy the ride.

What really motivates me are new experiences, whether it be traveling to new cities, new outdoor activities, visiting old friends, seeing my next music show or whatever. In between those, I can still geek out about the next comic book movie, my current favorite TV show or the next xbox.

Random things: I will read the latest in theoretical physics and pretend I understand what I am reading. I'm a dog person without a dog. I got a secret ingredient to make the best grilled cheese sandwich.

I am the yodeler from that The Price is Right game. I am climbing up, not knowing why or what's at the top, all while hoping that I don't fall off the cliff cause someone wouldn't say stop.

Movies: Anything Tarantino, Anderson or Coen. Dark Knight. Office Space, Zoolander, Bad Santa, Skyfall, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Big Fish, etc..

Shows: Breaking Bad, Lost, Futurama, Eastbound and Down, Daily Show, It's Always Sunny, Game of Thrones, House of Cards

Music: Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Avett Brothers, Daft Punk, Passion Pit, Vampire Weekend, Wilco, Hank Williams, classic rock, bluegrass, hip hop, real country music, indie, etc.. lots and lots

Food: Not picky and pretty adventurous. I recently had a pizza with calamari on it.

The best way to spend a Friday night is at a music show maybe at 9:30 Club or Black cat. But also good is seeing the latest movie at the theater, a comedian I like, at the local pub or just relaxing. But wouldn't you say the most memorable Friday nights are the nights you are doing what is NOT typical? hmmm...
